Entry 9-
It's 1:00am and Alyssa just woke up with horrible vomiting. Her mother and father are comforting her while I go to get a doctor. As soon as we walk in the room she says,
"It's time for me to go, don't cry over me, you know I wouldn't want that! Mom, Dad, I love you guys so much! Thank you for loving me, bringing me into this world, and taking care of me. I don't want to go. Please! WHY???" She started bawling, I started bawling, and her parents started bawling. I didn't want her to go either, but it was all in God's hands. "And Abby, I'm sorry I'm doing this to you at this point in your life. Remember, I'll be around you all of the time! You know that new girl, Savannah? She has lung cancer too! And has no friends. Would you do me the favor of becoming friends with her? And please take care of my parents and visit them often! They love you and think of you as their second daughter! Please, Abby! I love you sister, and don't forget that!" And then she was gone. We all stopped crying, at her request. I knew she was around me...I could smell her perfume. xx-Abby
