Luck

I ended up sleeping over at Kenzies. She dropped me off at my house and I got ready for school.

I throw on some grey sweats and a black Nike sweatshirt. I slip on my black Vans and brush my hair. I grab my backpack and phone and run downstairs.

"Honey! I can't believe you did that, leaving your poor mom home to take care of the cat."

At first she seemed mad but it lightened up towards a joke at the end.

"Sorry mom, Kenzie really wanted to hang out and she said she would pick me up."

"It's fine. Here a packed you a lunch," My mom handed me my lunch bag (that I never use.)

"Thank you but you know you don't need to."

She really didn't, I never eat lunch anyways so I wish she wouldn't.

"Well I'm off to school see you later mom!" I told her this as I walked out the door.

"See you honey!"

I start walking down the street, my schools only about a few blocks away.

~~ 10 minutes later ~~

I'm sitting in 1st period. Science. One of my favorites out of all my classes but the teacher is tough. Your lucky if you get a B. I sit in the back row, 1 seat away from the corner, I sit in between Layla and Jessica. Jessica is doodling in her notes while Layla is frantically taking notes on her notepad. I should be trying to pay attention now but all I can think about is that pizza guy...

~ Flashback ~

Kenzie pauses the movie and goes and opens the door to meet the pizza man. I couldn't stop staring at him. He was so gorgeous. He was around my age, a little taller. Dark brown hair, green eyes... So.. Hot...

"Kassidy!"

~ Flashback Over ~

"Kassidy!"

"Kassidyyyy!!"

"Sorry! What happened?" I quickly snapped out of it and focused on what's going on.

"Umm... You've been sitting in your chair for a while and class is over and you only have a few minutes left to get to your other class..."

It was Ms. Keller, the science teacher.

"Oh! I'm so sorry Ms. Keller! See you tomorrow..."

I quickly walk to my locker hoping I won't be late to English. I grab my English book and my other class book and run to room 103.
