School goes by slowly and painfully. I'm at my locker getting my stuff together about to leave school when my friend Smiley comes up and taps me on the shoulder.

"Hi Kassidy! There's a party this Friday and I was wondering if you could come? It's at my house and there will be a bunch of people and it will be a lot of fun!"

"Sure, text me the time and address and stuff," I smile writing down my number on her hand.

"You can bring a friend to if you want."

"Okay, thanks see you later."

I get the rest of my stuff and start heading out, I meet Kenzie outside.

"Get in slow poke!"

"Yeah, yeah," I laugh rolling my eyes, I hop into her car and she starts driving.

"Hey, so Smiley invited me to this party that's going to be at her house and she said that I could bring a friend! Would you want to go with me?"

"Of course! But we need to go shopping before hand, I need a new party dress."

"Do you know how many dresses you have?! And you need another one?" I ask surprised.

"Trust me most of those dresses are either to small or to out of date. By the way the shopping starts now considering I have to stuff to do later in the week."

"You're lucky I don't have anything to do," I give her an evil glare and she just laughs.

She continues driving towards the mall and I get a text.

To: Kassidy 3:02 p.m.
Hey it's Smiley! The party is this Saturday, starts at 8:00 and ends whenever! Just bring yourself and a friend if you want! :)
From: Smiley

"Smiley just texted me, the parties this Friday."

"Cool," she drives into the parking lot of the mall. She parks in a spot close to the entrance, we get out and walk into the mall.
