"Tuesday, 5:43 am, and I'm already tired, so tired..."

I yawn calmly because I knew that the faster I did it, the sooner, I would have to get out of bed. I didn't feel like going to school, but I'm the kind of person who doesn't like missing school for no good reason.

Through my window next to my bed, I saw the sunrise and heard how all the birds were joyfully singing around. They are always doing this in the morning; I've always wondered what they are singing that made them so glorious and pleasant to watch or where are they headed. Birds are always flying, but I never get to see how far they go.

I like waking up early so I can experience this beautiful thing every morning, just a way to make the day easier. It doesn't sound "pleasant" at all, but it's something everybody should try for them-self. There are not enough words to describe the beauty of nature.

Well, If I don't change now, there's no way I'll be there on time.

I changed into my same, old uniform, put my shoes on and of course... THE TIE.

Nobody in my class likes to wear the tie, we all think is ridiculous and unnecessary but the school rules say we have to wear it. Someone might ask why just don't break the rules?

Well, the answer is pretty simple, my school focus on obedience, so if you break or not follow any of the rules, no matter how simple they are, the punishment is to be kicked out of school. The funny thing is that didn't quite stop some of them from going to school without the tie.

Those guys got kicked out, simple as that. So, we try to keep everything as they want them because if we get ourselves expelled, were no way we could get into another school as half as good as this one. That means, we need to use the horrible tie. On the other hand, girls love boys in ties, so it's not completely awful.

''Oh! Seven O' Clock, I'm totally going to be late today.''

I'm pretty happy they don't take being on time as a rule because I'm usually late, but I do have to do extra homework because of this; however, it doesn't affect my grades. That's good because I'm an excellent student; A+ Student. I don't know how I manage that but I'm trying to figure it out and I will, with time.

But now I need to get on my bike and try to get to school early.

''Holy Crap! I have an exam in the first period.''

"This" is when the rushing starts... So, I got out of the house, ran to my bike and started pedaling as fast as I could, I'm glad school is not that far just like 3.5 km or something like that.

I always take the same route, but I wanted to be early so, I decided to go through the woods today, and with that, I would be able to cut around 2 km, perhaps. I don't like going through the woods because people say ''bizarre'' things happen there, and I rather stay away, but I've been through it a couple of times before so, I know the way.

Biking as fast as I can, I got to the beginning of the woods, it didn't look too scary from where I was looking, but as they say, ''Appearances deceive''.

So, without stopping or even thinking about it twice because I knew I wouldn't allow myself even to be close to putting my life in danger, I rushed inside without realizing what was I going to find inside.

I was quickly pedaling though, trying not to look around me so I didn't even see something weird and let it take over my curiosity but I'm not good at NOT paying attention to my surroundings.

I glanced to my left and was able to see through the tall trees, someone running in the same direction I was headed, I couldn't see much because I was pedaling too fast and I wasn't going to stop, but I was able to see... it was a girl.

I didn't understand why but I wasn't able to hear her stepping over all the twigs; I was sure making a lot of noise with my bike so, I guess that's maybe why I couldn't hear her, or maybe she was too far for me to hear...Suddenly, she looked at me.

-Bummm!!

I got so distracted I pedaled right into a tree, even though it hurt, as soon as I could, I immediately looked to my left trying to find her, but I didn't see her. I looked all around while I got up as if I wasn't very late for school or I didn't have to check if my bike was alright, I didn't care, all I cared about was the girl.

Somehow she managed to captivate me, just for a few seconds I would have done anything to see her face yet all I managed was colliding with a tree.

Stepping back to reality, I realized I was late...again. I checked my bike, and it wasn't entirely damage, though there was some weird yellowish liquid around, I didn't pay much attention to it. I still could ride to school, but I sure would have to get it fixed later on.

I got back on my bike and continued my way to school.

I was trying to avoid this kind of distraction so that I could concentrate in school but all I could think about was this mysterious shadow with "No Face."

I decided to call her "Beau" because I didn't have another way to describe her.

The day passed by so fast, class after class just passing by.

On the last period, I stared at the clock thinking about her, tricking my mind to see if I could remember anything else...anything at all but nothing came.

TIN TIN TINNN TINN!

It was time to go home, part of me wanted to go through the "Safe and crowded road" but the other part of me, the one that was curious, wanted the woods, just because there was a small possibility of seeing her again.

I didn't know what way to take, I know it wasn't that important but at the moment it felt huge, I felt like it was the most important decision ever, the one which could change my life.

- "Stop trying so hard, just decide. I'll go the opposite way anyways." A girl behind me said sincerely anxious.

I looked at her. She was beautiful; she didn't look older than fifteen.

- "Excuse me," I said confused.

She wipes opened her eyes like she was surprised.

- "You...you can hear me?"

- "Umm...yeah, I guess."

- "Are you sure?" She asked hoping I didn't answer back.

I looked at her just trying to guess if she was joking, but she was dead serious.

- "Yeah, I can hear you..."

- "Oh, my! What have I done? They are going to banish me for this, well maybe. That didn't happen to Thomas. He wasn't banished because he talked without permission. He was okay, nothing dreadful happen..."

I kept looking at her very confused then she turned to me and took a deep breath.

I think she said to herself that it was okay, that she could handle this, but I didn't quite understand because she was talking on a unelevated voice.

- "Hi."

That's how everything started.____________________________________________________________
