Look where it got it me. Being cautious didn't even help. I thought that she must be wrong about this. But I guess she was right. However what's done is done. I shouldn't think too much about it now. Go to bed, I should just go to bed. Yes, Alice you should just go to bed. Sleep and don't think about it anymore, I told myself.

I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. Tears leaked out. Hnm...hwm...sniff... I quickly wiped it off.

"Alice! Alice please! It's a misunderstanding. You've got to believe me! Please open the door and talk with me!" he shouted.

BANG BANG!

"Stop!" I said and opened the door.

"I don't want to hear lies" I said and looked down. I didn't want to show him that I was crying.

SIGH. "Alice...I really was at work when you saw me that day"

"If you were at work then why are you with a woman. You said you were busy...and that you can't meet up with me..." I looked up at him.

He looked ragged and out of breath. His hair's a mess.

"Then why...why is it just you two? And she...she...ki..." I continued but something dawned on me.

"Alice she's a co worker. I am not interested in her. You have...to believe me" his eyes shone with desperation.

"The only person I'm interested in is...you... you are the only one..." he ran his hand through his hair and moved closer. "You make me feel like hell..." his voice choked. He took my hand and held it in his.

Tears spilled down my cheeks. I looked at him and saw the sincerity in his eyes. I should believe him and trusted him more! He didn't kissed her. That woman, she must've been trying to get him!

"Yo..sniff...you... also made me...feel th...sniff...the same" I told him and wiped off the tears.

He immediately crushes me in an embrace.

He took in a deep breath. "I missed you..." he told me.

"I missed you too" I said through his chest "But I'm also angry as well. How can you let you let that woman be near you!"

"You are such a crybaby" he said and pulled my face up "I thought nothing is gonna happen at the café WITH A LOT of PEOPLE, plus we have other coworkers there as well" He emphasizes.

He slowly leaned down and touched his lips to mine. My heart started to beat wildly. My ears were buzzing and my cheeks were burning. I closed my eyes and kissed him back. I inhaled in his scent as we kissed. It was sweet and slow at first but his kiss started to become intense and possessive.

I tried to match him but I couldn't, my breath caught up in my throat and I started to cough.

COUGH. COUGH

He pulled back instantly. "Ahahahhahahahahha Alice you made me go mad sometimes" he laughed out loud and crushes me in his arms.

"It's not funny!" I told him and started to laugh right alongside with him. "Hehehe we look like a crazy couple" I said and ushered him into my apartment.

"Hopefully the neighbors aren't disturbed by us" I continued.

"They aren't. If they do complain, tell me so that I could apologize to them" he said and linked his fingers with mine.

"You look like a mess"

"So do you" he told me.

"Go take a shower. It's still early in the morning. I'll fix something up while you are in the shower. What do you want to eat?" I asked as I pushed him towards the bathroom.

"Anything is fine" He stopped right at the bathroom door, turned around and pulled me towards him. I can feel my heart beating really fast. He leaned down.

I quickly closed my eyes and wait, "Do you want to take a shower together?" he whispered in my ear. I can feel his breath on my skin. It feels hot and ticklish.

I opened my eyes and stared up at him. He took my breath away. I can't think, my mind's a mess. I blinked trying to take in what he just asked me. His words registered and my face started to fume bright red.

"Hahahaha I was just joking with you" he laughed. "I won't force you to do anything you are not ready," he told me with a gleam in his eyes. He was still smiling widely. I can't believe he was joking with me!

"You are very cute you know that?" he said in an amusing tone.

"You know...I was seriously considering it too" I told him.

His expression did a 180. It was priceless! Hah that's what you get for playing around! I thought in a smug smile.

He clenched his jaw and his expression suddenly became serious. My heart started to jump. Oh what have I gotten myself into. "Ummm....on the other hand...I was just joking..." I told him and slowly took a step back.

He took a step forward. I started to breath heavily for my heart seems to be pounding like crazy. I feel nervous but excited as well. What is this!? Oh my gosh. Alice. Calm. Down.

I quickly turned around and started to run but he grabbed my waist and picked me up.

"Ahhh! Sebastian I was just joking!" I shouted at him but also felt ticklish as well. I started to struggle so that he can put me down.

He took me and lie down on the sofa. He used both of his arms to block me from escaping. I looked up at his face. His expression was still serious. What is he going to do? My cheeks started to turn red. I can feel my face burning from cheeks to ears as I waited. I bit my lower lip in nervousness.

He quickly leaned down and kissed me. I wasn't prepared. His hot, intense kiss took me by surprise. I felt weakened. There was nothing on my mind except the way how his kiss felt.

His lips trailed down onto my neck.

I can feel his hot breath on me. He suddenly stopped. I quickly opened my eyes. We both were out of breath. We stared at each other for a moment. Somehow my tummy started to felt ticklish and I started to laugh uncontrollably. He soon followed me.

"You know Alice being with you always made my day" he said and switched places with me. I laid atop him and sigh in content. I can still hear his rapid heartbeat.

"I'm sorry for..." I said but he suddenly cut me off.

"I told you, I'll wait until you're ready."

"Even if it kills you?" I asked.

"Yes Alice even if it kills me."

"What if I'm never ready and how will I know?"

"You'll know. And I promise you I can wait. Although you are trying my patience every time when I see you. Unless you want to continue?" He said in a teasing tone.

"I love you Sebastian..." I told him. When those words left my mouth, I felt so very vulnerable but they really described how I felt towards him.

He held me tighter and lightly slide his hand up and down my head. I don't know if he notices it or not. But I do like it every time he does that to me and it always made me feel that I'm being loved.
