Dean layed there, almost dead, slipping slowly away from life. The worst part about it was that he was alone. The thought of his little brother coming in to find him dead was very painful. The he imagined Cas finding him, that was worse, the thought of his angel, the person he loved, running in too find that he was gone was like a knife piercing through his heart and it made his stomach hurt. His only regret was that he would never get to tell Cas how he felt. He closed his eyes as he felt death take over, but Cas busted in.
"Dean!" his gruff voice shouted as he ran over.
"Cas." Dean choked out as Cas nealed next to him.
"I l-love you." He chocked out, his voice barely a whisper.
"No no no no no, Dean, you can't die. I love you too." Cas choked. Dean, even though he was on the verge of death, grinned, he wasn't going to die alone, and Cas loved him back. This was all the broken man could ask for. Cas then mentally face palmed. He guessed that when the person you loved was dying you didn't think straight. He's an angel, he can fix this. It will be hard considering Dean is pretty much already dead, but he had to try. He closed his eyes and put his fingers on Dean's forehead. Nothing was happening.
"No! Come on." He begged his father as he tried harder.
"Cas, stop, it's too late." Dean choked.
"It can't be." Cas said a tear falling down his cheek.
"It is." Dean said also feeling tears rise. The both sat there crying when Dean suddenly began to feel the same sensation he normally felt when Cas healed him. Cas gasped watching as Dean's wounds healed and he slowly sat up. Then they heard cries of a baby. They looked over to see a naked baby girl, not more then a few seconds old, kicking and screaming. The men glanced at each other when an angel appeared. They both jumped up on guard, what's happening? The angel lifted the baby and closed her eyes. The baby suddenly was wrapped in a pink blanket. The angel opened her eyes and smiled.
"This is what healed you, Dean, your child." she said.
"What?" Dean asked, reverting back to his normal closed off, harsh, self.
"When two soul mates finally confess love that they have been denying, they have a baby, as a gift from god. She can't grow up without both of her fathers so you were resurrected." the angel said.
"That thing did not come out of me." Dean said.
"Dean, she's not a thing." Cas said already in love with the little girl. Dean sighed and melted at the sight of his daughter.
"She was created outside of your body, she's still yours, made from both of you." the angel said. She the handed Dean the child. He took her and smiled down.
"Hey beautiful." He cooed. The angel smiled and disappeared. Castiel smiled down at their daughter.
"What should we name her?" Dean asked. Cas smiled at her and looked up at Dean.
"Madison. It means gift from God. It's perfect." Cas said. Dean smiled.
"Her middle name can be Farrah. For happiness." Dean said.
"Madison Farrah Winchester." Cas breathed. It was a beautiful name and she was a beautiful girl.
