Warrior

Hope.

-Demi point of view-

I was walking alone, I had to get out for a little while, I guess I was having a bad day, Max wanted to come and make sure I was safe, but I told him I just wanted to be alone and that I'll call him if I got into trouble. As I was walking I could see a small figure in a cardboard box and as I got closer I recognised her, but I didn't know where from. I carried on walking and I'm happy I did cause she was just about to chug down a lot of pills! I quickly ran and hugged her, took the pills and threw them behind me. She cried and I sung, I asked her "what's wrong little warrior?" She just cried a bit more, but after a little while her beautiful face raised up and said, "You're our hero."
She was alone so what did she mean 'our' ? Anyway I called max and told him to pick me up, I took the girl home with me... I know it's dangerous, but she wasn't a stranger, I knew her somehow from somewhere, we had a connection I just needed to figure out why.

-Dani's point of view-
Demi took me in for the night, but I'm sure I'd be gone straight away in the morning, she tucked me in and kissed my forehead, just the way my mum done when I was little, something about her made me have butterflies, we had a connection, I know it sounds stupid, but we really did. I needed to figure out why?
The next morning I had packed my stuff away and was about to walk out the door when Demi came in and asked, "Where are you going?" And I didn't really know what to say, I eventually just replied, "I thought you would've wanted me to go by now, I'm just in your way and I understand if you want me to go, but I was making it easier on me, because you've done a lot for me and my sister, so I just needed to go before you could let me down in person?" She looked at me and smiled a sympathetic smile and said,
"I wasn't going to make you leave, I just wanted to maybe get to know you, we could be friends if you like?" Friends! She said friends! I've never really had any other friends apart from Bailey, I missed her aswell. So I just said thank you and went back to the guest room, where I slept the night before. Demi somehow gave me a little hope that maybe something good will happen.
