Hotheads

"Luffy! Stop!" Nami yelled at the raven haired boy. Everyone stood back as the two students headbutted each other and growled like a couple of mindless animals. "YOU'RE BOTH GOING TO WRECK THE CLASSROOM AGAIN!!!" The orange haired girl continued to scream.

You sat still in your seat, hugging Luffy's hat as he had asked for you to hold it for him earlier, and stared as the brawl resumed itself.

It was amazing how Luffy, skinny and usually bubbly cheerful Luffy, switched from a happy-go-lucky fellow to a raging bull in a mere minute.

You gasped fearfully as Bellamy swung a punch at him, but Luffy managed to send him flying with a single kick before his fist could even make contact with his face. Not only was Luffy strong, but his strength increased when THAT happened.

-Flashback-
"DON'T YOU DARE..." Ace growled lowly, stepping forward slowly.

"EVER TREAT MY FRIENDS LIKE THAT AGAIN, BELLAMY!!!" Luffy yelled in anger.

Everyone in the room bolted out the door and watched from the hole in the wall that Luffy had sent Bellamy crashing through.

A few classmates glanced at you worriedly, you seemed to be in shock. Nami, on the other hand, was trying to reason with the two about how fighting on the first day would get them all in trouble.

"Oi, (Name), can you hold my hat for me?" Luffy said in a hushed voice and tossed you his ever-present straw hat, which you caught and hugged tightly.

"L-Luffy... You don't have to start a fight because of me..." You whispered to him.

As much as you already hated Bellamy, you didn't want to cause problems for your new classmates. But Luffy shook his head and scoffed at his opponent.

"No way. I didn't like the way he talked to you, (Name). Besides," He replied, then looked up at Bellamy, grinning wide. "I've already decided that I'm gonna kick his ass."

Nami groaned in defeat and facepalmed. There was no way Luffy would budge when his mind had been made up.

From beside him, Ace smirked and raised an eyebrow. "I'm starting to like your friend, princess." He chuckled amused. Then slowly looked back at Bellamy. "I think I want to join in the fun as well."

As Luffy readied himself in an attacking position, Ace's body turned into an orange fire-like mist and fused himself into Luffy.

Luffy grinned wider at the sudden increase of strength in his body. "Get ready... "

Your eyes widened as their voices echoed into one.

"I'LL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!"

-End of Flashback-

"LUFFY, NO!" Nami shrieked as he punch Bellamy into the blackboard.

The wood splintered into pieces and sent the tanned blonde crashing into the next room.

"Oh no..." Nami sighed.

Students were screaming and running outside, trying to avoid getting involved in the fight.

Luffy stood with confidence as he laughed. Bellamy, however, still had the strength to get up and keep on going.

"Lucky hit." He spat.

"Well I am kinda lucky~" Luffy nodded proudly.

You smiled a bit; Nami paled. "Luffy..." She whispered and pointed at the teacher's desk of the other classroom that they had just broken through.

A large man with a scar near his left eye, grinned menacingly at the boys and cracked his knuckles. "Luffy... What do you think you're doing?" He chuckled darkly.

At that moment the color on Luffy's face drained and he took a step back out of fear for his life.

"G-Grandpa..."
