(Audrey's POV)

I was curled up on the couch watching the telly, eating my third bowl of soup when I heard a banging on the front door. Mum and Dad were upstairs, so I got up lazily and went to the door.

"Who is it?" I asked, not really caring as I opened the door.

Harry was standing on the other side of the door, soaking. He looked up at me and grabbed my face and kissed me. I felt my eyes widen before I slapped him.

"What. The. Hell. Do you think you're doing?" I asked hit beating him with my spoon.

"Ow ow ow. Auddie that hurts." He said chuckling. I slammed the door in his face and walked away.

"Arsehole, I swear it." I said walking back to the couch. I heard somebody coming down the steps as Harry knocked on the door again.

"Audrey Rose. I know you heard someone at the door." My mum says annoyed. I roll my eyes and ate my soup transfixing my eyes back to the screen.

"Don't let him in." I said softly as she opened the door.

"Oh! Harry! Come in out of that rain. Go sit next to my rude daughter, I'll get you something to change into." Mum said pulling him inside.

"Thanks, Mrs-" He started.

"None of that. Go sit. Do you like tomato soup?" She asked wrapping a blanket around him and sitting him next to me. He looked up at her and nodded, probably giving her that lovely dimpled smile of his.

"Alright, stay here. I'll get you clothes and soup." Mum said to him then looked at me, shook her head and walked away. I rolled my eyes.

"I came back to get you and that's the thank you I get?" He says getting up and sitting in front of me.

"You kissed me. You don't just go around kissing people, or sleeping with their friends for that matter." I said the last part quietly before spooning more soup into my mouth.

"I didn't sleep with her. If only you'd let me explain it then, you would know that. Even if I did sleep with her, why do you care so much? We aren't dating or anything. Last time I checked you had a profound hate for me." He said frowning a bit.

I chuckled. He looked like a pouting kid, who didn't get any candy. I leaned forward and kissed his cheek softly. Cue instant regret.

His face lit up and he raised an eyebrow.

"I don't hate you. You're just difficult, now move. I was watching the telly before you plopped you bum in front of it."

He didn't say anything, but smiled stupidly and sat next to me. He pushed the wet curls from his face as my Mum walked back in hold folded sweats in one hand a a tray with the other.

She handed Harry the clothes. "You can go change up in Auddie's room, Gerald's in the loo. I'm sure Audrey wouldn't mind showing you where her room is. Right, sweetie?" Mum said looking at me.

I looked to her, about to object when she gave me the look. I scoffed and threw my blanket off and stood up. "Of course I wouldn't mind, mother dearest." I said with all the sarcasm I could muster, curtsying afterwards. She waved at me dismissively and set the tray on the table.

She turned to Harry, "Eat that when you come back down."

"Yes ma'am." He nodded standing. I pushed past him and headed up stairs, glancing back to see that he was already behind me. I walked down the hall and opened my room door.

"Here it is, Audrey's room. It's a bit more quaint than at the manor. Don't you think?" He was directly behind me whispering the last part in my ear. I walked into my room and sat on my bed.

Harry closed the door and dropped the blanket.

"It's a lot more comfy than your giant manor, Young Master." I said lining the last part with a bit of sarcasm.

Harry shuddered. Probably because the air vent he's under. I thought laying back.

"Don't call me that." He said, taking off the wet shirt. I sat up again and stared at his chest, I wanted to reach out and trace his tattoos but resisted and shook my head.

"Don't call you what?" I asked looking at his face now.

"It's what the workers do, I don't like it when you say it."

(Harry's POV)

That was a damn lie. I loved hearing her say it. It was sexy. I pictured how Audrey would look in a maid outfit. I decided to do anything I could to get her in one.

"I'm basically a slave to your family. I mean, your parents never told the purpose of trading me for the money. I'm not that valuable." She said laying back and covering her eyes with her arm.

I grabbed the shirt her mum gave me and put it on.

You're worth more than that.

"Do you have a hair dryer ?" I asked stepping out of my bottoms. She nodded and pointed to the dresser. I walked over to it and opened the top drawer. On top of cute little pairs of panties was the hair dryer. I smirked and turned around closing the drawer.

"Can't find it." I said. She moved her arm and sat up. Her face went a bit red when she saw me. I pulled at my briefs.

"The rain soaked through." I said shrugging. She stood up and pushed me to side a bit. She opened the drawer I just closed and quickly yanked out the dryer. She held it out to me.

"Oh? You like lingerie?" I teased grabbing the dryer. She sighed heavily and rolled her eyes.

"Just use the damned thing. " She said then left the room.

- Time Skip -

I came back downstairs and Audrey was in the same spot she was in before we went up.

"I ate your soup." She said softly not turning away from the telly. I looked to the screen and saw a kids show.

As if on cue, Minnie came out with another two bowls of soup. Audrey shifted in her seat.

"Thanks Mum." She said.

"Thanks Minnie." I smiled brightly at her. She smiled back and ruffled my hair.

"No problem loves. The storm is letting up, but you can stay for the night if you'd like."

Before I could say anything Audrey spoke up, "No. I got a phone call from his mother saying to get back to the manor as soon as possible."

At the mention of my mum, Minnie tensed a bit and nodded curtly before heading back to whatever she was doing before.

"You got a call from my mum?" I looked at Audrey. She shook her head.

"I just don't want to stay the night. They'd make you sleep in my bed. " She said handing me a bowl of soup.

"Hurry and eat both of those so we can go." Audrey said.

So much for having to win her over, right ?
