"What are you trying to do Arnavji?!" Khushi broke the silence and the long stare.
"Can't you take care of yourself? Wait a minute, Did you even eat your dinner?! DM! What about tablets?" Arnav opened his mouth to speak, only to get cut off by Khushi's continuous blabberings. She didn't even realise Arnav starring at her, smiling.
"Why are you smiling now? What happened to you! You..."
She was interrupted by Arnav who pulled her hand which made her sit on the bed.
"Khushi you can deny that you don't care and ask me to leave you but your heart can't pretend..." He said holding her hands.
Khushi knew he was referring to what happened last night. She wanted to just leave from there. But wasn't what he was saying true? That confused Khushi. Why does she have to care about him when she wanted to leave him? Why? She remembers nothing from the past that she had spent with him. But why does her heart beats so fast when he was near her? Why does caring him seems so natural? Why?
"Khushi?" Arnav interrupted her thoughts.
"Did you have dinner?" Khushi said trying not to show any feelings.
"No... But I'm not hungry..."
"Are you crazy?! You just almost fainted! And I came in time if not... I'll bring something to eat" Khushi exclaimed.
"Did you just call me crazy? What the!" Arnav gave her an you-are-unbelievable reaction.
"You and your what the! Laad Governer!" Khushi said before she got up from the bed.
"Did you just call me Laad Governer?" Arnav was pretty surprised that she remembers this? But how?
"Who wouldn't?" She puffed angrily and left the room.
So she had called him Laad Governer not by memory but by just seeing him for a few weeks. Arnav sighed. Was he blind to see that this girl has not even erred? Her innocence. Her care. Her smile. Her selflessness. How can he have thought of her doing such a thing? He had to win Khushi before he get rid of that stupid Shyam!
Khushi came back with a tray containing food, water and his tablets. Arnav was elated seeing Khushi care for him. This gave him hope that he can win her back.
She laid the tray on the bed side table and handed him the plate.
"Eat. " Khushi said. It sounded more like a command.
Arnav just stared at her. Why did she look so angelic?
"What?" Khushi said feeling uncomfortable at him looking at her like this.
"I won't eat unless you feed me" he replied.
Khushi's eyes widened by the unexpected answer, her mouth forming an "O" shape.
"No way! What do you..."
"What do you think you are doing Mr Arnav Singh Raizada! That's what you wanted to say right?" Arnav mimicked Khushi.
"Anyway I just said that to see your reaction... Well... Unless you really want to feed me..." He said to Khushi and taking one bite of the food.
Khushi didn't really know what to do. She looked away. Looking all around the room except Arnav.
Arnav who sensed her helplessness decided to not say anything further. She got up from the bed and went to the washroom.
Khushi came out of the bathroom hoping that Arnav would have fallen asleep. But unfortunately he was awake. He was lying down on his side of the bed.
Khushi walked over to her side and lied down. She couldn't sleep. She was thinking about her future which was so unpredictable. She felt so loss.
Suddenly an arm got hold of her waist. It was Arnav. And he was asleep. Khushi stilled not knowing what to do. She didn't want to wake him up as well. Arnav snuggled closer to Khushi as she tried to push him away. Her heart beat was so fast that she thought it would wake Arnav up! Then she decided to close her eyes and try to sleep...I hoped you all liked this update! :) I haven't forgot about Shyam... For now let's unite our Arshi first! :D
