"Wake up! Wake up! You lazy butt, wake up!" I heard a voice screaming in my ear when I noticed it was my best friend, Alex. My eyes slowly opened taking in the my surroundings. I looked around to notice I was in her room, and completely hammered. My head was pounding, and I was in the middle of her bed. I sat up and peered over the edge of her bed to notice people laying all over the floor passed out drunk. I gave her a confused look, but she returned it by raising her left eyebrow.

"You don't remember- the party?" She said as if it explained it all an it kind of did. I Logan Chadwell am a serious partier, and so is Alex Jefferson- otherwise known as my best friend. I didn't ask any questions about the people on the floor, or there identities. I knew she new just as much as I did if not less. I was in a black cap-sleeve dress that had a line about four inches wide down the middle that was white. It was short coming just a few inches past "The safety length" witch is me, and Alex's term for it covers everything. Alex was in a bright red dress that hugged her body just as tight as mine, however here's was almost leather looking, and had a scoop in the back. The length of her dress almost twined mine. We were know to be classy by day, and trouble makers by night. I smiled at her as she began to stare at one of the guys on the floor. He was VERY shirtless, and very good looking. I playfully snapped in her face to get her attention.

"Well...?" I asked her trying to get back on topic but she just gave me a confused look while tilting her head to the right. "You woke me up for something, right?"

"Oh! Yeah! Joshua's here..." She said carelessly hand laid back on the bed to rest. She examined her nails while I watched her in curiosity? Why was my brother here?

"Did he say why?" I asked her still very confused.

"Nope." She said simply giving the p sound a loud pop. I rolled my eyes at her bad habit, and pushed myself out of her bed. I felt my feet pressing into the soft carpet convering her floor. I was a little nervous, my brother never came to Alex's house, well he would come for parties- but he always had that 'I'm a year older and clearly better than you , and all of your friends' feel about him. He would never come to talk to me. I slowly made my way down the elegant stair case, and into living room. Carefully moving my way around people passed out on the couch, and stairs. I scanned through the people seeing if I recognized any of them, and I did- some i had see from school- some i had met at a club or something- and some I had no clue who they were. I made my way to the wide entry way to see my bbrother, Joshua looking at a painting to pass the time he was waiting. His blonde hair, and blueish eyes looked a bit to much like Zac Efron.

"Hey Josh, what's up?" I said walking up to him. He was wearing a leather jacket, white t-shirt, a pair of dark wash jeans, and a pair of converse. His eyes widened when he saw me and quickly wrapped his jacket around me.

"Good Grief Logan! You can't walk around in a dish cloth! You know you really don't think sometimes! I don't want guys seeing you so.... exposed!" He snapped.

"Oh my gosh..." I rolled my eyes would he ever realize I've grown up? " I'm not ten anymore josh, I'm 16! I don't need you looking after me like I'm a kid. What did you want any ways?" I said sternly trying to change the subject so I got the last word.

"Mom told me to tell you we have a charity event tonight, and Alex is invited. You to can do your weird girly thing, and go shopping or whatever. But no boys! " he said the last part slowly just to make sure I heard it.

"Did mom say no boys or did you?" I questioned doubting him.

"Does it matter Logan?" He said with a small smirk on his face sliding on his sunglasses, and stepping out of the front door. I rolled my eyes, and quickly opened the door.

"Yes it does!" I called after him as he stepped into the limo. Oh well, I guess I need a new dress for the event. Lets got get it I thought to myself as I made my way back up stairs, here we go.
