Screaming, I wriggle around in pain. The pain stops for a moment and I try to escape my prison but to no avail. Hours and hours of agonizing torture...my body should be numb right now. I was at least hoping for the pain to numb so I wouldn't have to feel it anymore. I hang up in the air with my arms and legs tied up with ropes. I don't know how I got here but I want to get out.
"Start the machine." One of the cloaked guys says.
A few seconds after that, the building starts shaking and the cloaked men run out of the room. I squirm, twist, and turn trying to do anything to escape. I fall onto the floor below me. I struggle to get up but eventually I'm able to get on my feet and start moving. I wobble to the doors entrance and I don't see anyone outside. I'm in a long hallway and I start to move as quickly as I possibly can. At the end of the hallway, there's another girl. That's...weird...the girl wasn't there before. She happens to have some sort of white orb in her hand. She has dark purple hair and red eyes.
"What's your name?" the girl asks me.
"Ka-Kasai." I mumble.
"Well Kasai, you have 2 choices: either stay here and gain magnificent power or escape here. Whats your decision?"
"I...I don't need magnificent power! All I want is the ability to have my freedom back..."
"Very well." She steps aside. "You may go."
I walk past her while making sure she doesn't try anything. She doesn't. Looking behind me, I notice that the girl is gone now. I forget about her for now and keep walking. Finding the exit, I embrace my freedom.
