"you can never get 'em out of your head"

~

Peter haunts Lydia's dreams. She wakes up almost everyday screaming and crying in the middle of the night. She feels helpless. What can she tell her parents? They set her up with a therapist but thats not even enough help. Everyone see's Lydia Martin as a smart and confident girl but she is losing sense of that everyday.

Lydia knocked on the door a couple of times waiting for someone to open the door.

"Lydia?" Derek questioned when he opened the door.

"Yes, its me" Lydia said a she carelessly walked in the loft.

"uh what are you doing here.. shouldn't you be like I don't know with Allison?" Derek replied still confused

"Umm I actually d- don't know" Lydia said quietly looking down while playing with her hands.

"They always come back" Peter chuckled as he walked in.

Derek was still confused because he wasn't one hundred percent sure about Peter and Lydia. Derek awkwardly left the room.

Lydia tried to avoid eye contact with Peter because she was still somewhat still scared of him.

"To be honest I have no idea why you are here either honey" Peter said breaking the silence.

"i just.. I just want to know why?" Lydia said looking for an answer

"You've probably heard this a million times and I wouldn't blame ya Lydia. You're specal." Peter replied

The mood harshly changed and Lydia couldn't help but smile for some reason. Oddly enough Peter broke a smile. They both stood there in silence for a few seconds looking at each other

"Um I guess I should get going now" Lydia said awkwardly as she headed to the door. She gave Peter a quick glance right before leaving.  Peter hesitated and almost said something but Lydia was already gone.
