Frisk wasn't sure why they needed to go to London, but Toriel had insisted that it would help to, 'form connections with the world leaders'. Frisk wasn't sure what that meant, but they also didn't really care.
After all, it seemed that everyone wanted to meet the kid who single handedly liberated an entire species.
They had become a celebrity practically overnight, but as far as Frisk was concerned, all that meant was that they had even more friends.
The only downside of this however, were the long and boring meetings they had to attend with said leaders. All they ever did was talk about politics and other boring things.
Since Asgore and Toriel did all talking, Frisk didn't see why they had to attend, but everyone liked meeting Frisk and Frisk liked flirting with everyone, so it wasn't all bad.
In fact, during their meeting with the Queen, Frisk managed to use a few cheesy lines on her before an embarrassed Toriel dragged them away. Now however, Frisk was in an empty hotel room with nothing to do.
Toriel and Asgore were busy with official business, Sans and Papyrus went out to get food, and Undyne and Alphys were in their room doing something that Toriel wouldn't explain.
Frisk flopped onto one of the beds and stared at the ceiling. There was nothing on TV and nothing interesting in the room.
After a few moments, an idea popped into Frisk's head.
They were siting in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world. Why not go and explore a little? After all, Frisk had easily dealt with the equivalent of a god in the Underground. So what was the harm in a little exploration?
They grabbed a keycard and left the room, filled with detemination by the thought of exploring such a huge city. They didn't get very far...
Only a few blocks away from the hotel was an orphanage. The door was wide open and Frisk decided to visit the orphans. Since they had also been an orphan, Frisk knew how they must've felt and wanted to give them a little hope.
As they approached the building, a strange smell, similar to what sometimes came from Sans' room, wafted through the air.
Inside, a woman with coppery hair sat in a chair and stared at the ceiling. She had a huge grin and was holding some sort of rolled up paper thing.
The air in the building was hazy and the smell was much more potent in here.
Frisk cleared their throat and the woman looked over at them.
"What can I do for ya, kiddo?" She said, still wearing the same grin. Frisk noticed that her bright green eyes were tinted pink.
"I was wondering if I could speak with the orphans?" Frisk asked, trying to sound like a mature adult.
The woman burst out laughing and fell out of her chair. Instead of getting up, she just sat there and continued to laugh.
Frisk ran over and tried to help her up, but the woman waved them off.
"There haven't been any orphans here in a long time." She said once she composed herself.
"The only reason I'm here is to hotbox this place up!"
Frisk looked down at her with a puzzled expression.
Before they could comment, a man's slurred voice echoed through the room.
"Hello! I'm here to adopt a child!"
