If the world is one great ocean
And we are treasure divers
Searching for great beauty
And calling ourselves findersI am just here floating
Enjoying the blue waves
Not looking for a pearl
Or shore
Just leisurely finding my wayLooking at the sky
And clouds
And wind
And trees
Not looking hard for treasure
Beneath the depths of seaBut if I found a pearl
Of course I'd take it home
And cherish all its beautyFor I know it would bring happiness
But who says we can't be happy
Without the pearls or gold
For first you must find beauty
Within the simple things
Before you can enjoy it truly
When it fully spreads its wings
