Eridan was sitting in his hive, reading through a book about spells and mages, when he heard a loud knock at his hive door.
"Wwho could that possibly be" he sighed and walked to the door, feeling a freezing air blow in.
"Hello?"
In front of him stood Sollux Captor, cheeks flushing deep yellow and shivering aggressively.
"H-hey ED. G0t any r00m f0r me in y0ur stupiid a22 hiive"
"Wwhat about your hivve?"
Sollux shrugged his shoulders.
"Its c0ld and there2 n0 0ne 0n there hu2kt0p2. I figured y0u w0uldn't be busy."
Eridan sighed and held the door open allowing him in. He walked in and sat down on the couch, hugging his legs to his chest.
Eridan closed the door and looked at the heterochromia bearing troll. Gog he hated him sometimes. But when he didn't he was flushed as hell for his best friend. Eridan walked over and sat next to sollux. The yellow blood grabbed at the edge of his cape.
"Hmmm? Wwhat is it Sol?"
Without a word he wrapped himself in ED's cape, pressing his body against eridans.
"Fuck iits s0 c0ld.."
Eridan blushed softly, resting his hand on Sol's thigh, just kind of sitting there awkwardly.
"Hey, ED? What's wr0ng wiith y0u? Y0ur actiing m0re stupiid than usual"
Eridan shook his head and wrapped his arms around sollux, resting his chin on sollux's shoulder. Sollux's cold skin chilled eridan through his clothes, but sollux could feel the violet bloods heat. It was warm and unlike typical body heat. It was inviting. Eridan hated that he felt flushed for such a stupid, low blood hacker. As did sollux feel stupid, because he felt flushed for the ring wearing Aquarius that sat behind him.
"Sol?"
"What d0 y0u want ED?"
"Wwould you be interested in maybe, givving the wwhole matesprit thing a chance wwith me?"
Sollux widened his eyes, staying silent for a couple minutes. Eridan bit his lip anxiously.
"ED. Y0u kn0w I thiink y0ur a pretentiiou2 a22 riight?"
Eridan nodded sadly, expecting the obvious. Sollux to turn him away.
"But.. Ye2. Ii w0uld enj0y that"
Eridan looked at Sollux, just dorkily staring at him. There they sat. Staring at each other.
"Well? Are y0u goiing t0 kiiss me 0r n0t"
Sollux chuckled and eridan rolled his eyes.
"Shut up" he cupped his face and pressed his lips to Sollux's. Sol put his hand down on the others leg, tilting his head deeper into the kiss. In a few short minutes, sollux was on top of eridan. Both were flushed and warm, their tongues fought against each other, hands grabbing at each others hair. Sollux softly bit at eridans lip before pulling his head back. a small string of saliva connected their tongues, soft pants escaping their lips.
"Miind iif ii stay the niight?"
"I wwouldnt mind if you stayed forevver"
With one last kiss they snuggled into eridana cape, sharing each others warmth.
