Dan comes back with ice water. I sit up and hear about 14 bones crack. Again, ow. Dan goes back to playing his video games but keeps checking to see how I'm doing. I try to swallow the water. It burns in my throat and leaves an after taste of blood. I open my mouth and put my hand to my gums. My tongue is bleeding. Must have bitten it.
