I woke up to the sound of beeping. I sat up and looked around. I was in a hospital bed. "Sophie!" i herd my mother yell, running over to me and hugged me. I had a blank face, I said nothing to my mom. I was still pretty mad at her. She held my face and looked at me. "Honey, you... you can't seriously still be mad at us. Can you?" she asked. "honestly mom. Yeah, I am. I-I mean you lied to me my whole life..." I said, looking down. "That bothers me. The birthdays. Not paying attention to me." I sighed. "I-it all adds up... the lies. The birthdays!" My mom put her hand on my shoulder. "Honey, I'm so sorry. We should have told you, instead of lying." I looked at my mom. "So why did you lie?!" I exclaimed. She looked down as my dad came in and sat next to me. "Sweet heart. We are so, sorry. We didn't want you to find out this way. We..." he sighed and put his hand on my shoulder. "We were going to tell you.  We just didn't know how to. Were really sorry. For everything. We've been so busy that we forgot to pay attention to what's more important. Our daughter." They both hugged me. I hugged them back. "But now, you need to tell us why you were found, passed out on the road." They said, looking at me. "I...I was kidnapped. I don't know by who. I think they were scientists though. They told me that I had... powers." My mom looked at me. "Powers?" she asked, I nodded. "After the crash I went out to call for help and I was greeted by these, two males." I to explain to my parents what happen after the crash. "I'm fine now." I said, looking at them. "But these powers.... how would they know that?" I asked. My parents looked at each other, "We honestly don't know." The nurse came in, smiling. "You're free to go." She told us. I got out of the hospital bed and walked out. My parents walked behind me. When we reached the car we drove home.
