Meeting the old

"OMG!!! I missed you guys!!!!" I squealed and gave Oliver, Norman, Renee, William and Allison a group hug

"Hey Annika, mind the ribs" they said in chorus

"Oh, sorry" I apologized

"Why don't I get a hug?" Katelyn complained behind me

"Come here you" William said with a grin.

Katelyn approached and hug all of us and we are nearly in tears.

"Stop it guys" Renee said

We stopped hugging and went to the center wing of our school, and went straight to our new classroom. In our school, we don't move from one room to another, instead, the teachers go to our classroom but we don't stay in our room the whole day, in non-academic subjects, we go from one room to another. I looked at the top of our door where the name of our classroom is. It read "II-1 Serenity. Great, our section has a fancy name for the whole year. We entered the room, and I scanned the room and looked at each of my classmate's familiar faces. There is shy Emma, cute little Joshua (even though he is a sophomore, he is still cute because he is fat and small, we even treated him like our baby brother, even though he looks like the same age of my little sister) . Then I saw Terrein in the middle

of the room with his group of friends. Terrein is a handsome boy with a blonde hair and blue eyes. His skin tone is perfectly tanned like he went to the beach every week. He wore a checkered polo patterned with red and black, black jeans and a converse black high-cut. I looked at a place to sit near my friends. Maybe they read my mind because they said

"We reserved a seat for you and Katelyn in case you come to school late." Norman said with a playful grin

"Thanks." I smiled back

Katelyn slumped her bag in the armrest and sat on the chair. I also put my bag down and sat.

"You don't wanna seat?" I asked them

"Sorry we're busy standing." Hailey said

Everyone came up with a laugh. The rest of them sat and they have their own conversations. While they're having their own conversations, I managed to daydream. When I was a little kid, I always believed that when I grow up, I will meet my knight in shining armor. The perfect guy with a kind heart that is fit for me. But now, not that I want to have a boyfriend, I just want to love someone. Of course I love my mom, dad and my sister. Did I mention I had a small sister? Well yeah, I have an annoying little sister but she sometimes come in handy. She admires me and always wishes that when she grow up, she would be as pretty and successful as I am. Her name is Trixie. So, enough with my sister's talk. Let's proceed. I wanna have my own partner like my mom and dad and live a peaceful life ahead. I was put into alarm when someone entered the door. It's our new class adviser. She wore a yellow dress with floral designs on the skirt, yellow hills and her hair is tied up in a bun that her outfit matches the sunny day. Her expression is soft, and her face is also soft.

"Good morning class, my name is Ms. Andersons your class adviser and at the same time, your English teacher."

Everyone's attention is on Ms. Andersons.

"Class, we have an activity, I will group you all into pairs." She said

"Katelyn Arrein and Renee Hills, Oliver May and Norman Castellan........ Annika Andrews and Terrein Hugh."
