The ride into town was no where near as awkward as i thought it would hae been, because apparently, when your with Aaron, nothing can be awkward.

"So, how ya liking Beauport then?" He jumped headfirst into convosation, the moment we pulled off of the drive.

"Its cool,"

"Yea? You been to the beach yet?" He looked at me expectantly.

"Urm....." Of course i hadnt been to the beach yet, I know the only people who go there are tanned, skinny, brunnettes who want to get even more tanned.

"No." I smiled, turning my head to look out of the passenger window, i looked to see families carrying big beach bags full of snacks and tennis kits and things.

"Why not?" He asked, looking confused.

"Because, Lisa and Brad have a pool, and if i wanted to go for a cool off, i could just use that." I stated, it was true, their pool was amazing, it was in the shape of a heart, and it looked seriously cool.

"True, but you can just chill on the beach! And have a laugh!" He smiled, obviously remembering some 'fun' memories he had back at the beach.

"Whatever." I sighed, i really wasnt in the mood to have an argument over the beach. All i wanted to do was go, get something to eat, have a look around, and maybe jump in the pool later, yea...that sounds like a plan!

Aaron just sighed, "Wanna go get a pizza?" He asked, grinning down at me.

"No thanks, i think im going to eat someplace else." I smiled at him gracefully, before he pulled into the town and i quickly, and also clumsly, got out.

"Ok, ill catch up with you later then?" He asked, causually.

"Yea sure." I nodded, before walking off, the town looked even more beautiful in the blazing sunlight.

I slowly made my way up the hill, looking in every unique little shop, before stopping outside a window which had something that really caught my eye. Ontop of a baby blue cushion, was a thin, delicate necklace, it had a small crystal heart on it, which was outlined in what looked to be platimum.

"Wooooow." I whispered under my breath, pressing my face up against the glass. This necklace looked a fortune, but unbeleivebly beautiful. I looked up to the sign above the window. "First Rose" the sign read. What a pretty name... I thought to myself, as i entered the shop.

As soon as i opened the baby blue door, i was welcomed by the smell of cinnomen and rosewater. The shop was so elegant that I was completelty amazed by my surrondings. The walls where painted with a touch of pink, and hanging off of them were cream picture frames with different pictures of familys and little cute animals.

"Hello there dear, need any help?" I heard a soft, friendly voice ask behind me.

I turned to see a lady, no older then fiftty, come out from behind her desk, carrying a large plate of cookies and a glass of lemonade, She had sholder length, wavy strawberry blonde hair, big blue eyes, and rosy red cheeks.

"Oh, i was just wondering, would you mind letting me have a little look at that necklace in your window?" I smiled.

"Oh sure honey! Let me just go get it." She placed the things down and began fumiling for some keys, before opening a little door by the window and carefully taking out the necklace.

I dont know how it was possible, but it looked even more stunning out of the window.

The spotlights from the ceiling sparkled down on it. Making the light  reflect into my eyes, the woman carefully held it out to me. I was spechless.
