The day I became famous

Chapter 1: The Discovery

 It was 4:30 ish in the morning. I heard a loud crash in the backyard as our house rumbled. I got on my slippers and threw on a blanket as I went to investigate. Ledger came out as he joined me, we went out to the back yard as I saw a crater in the ground. Inside was a small golden capsule with a purple light emitting out of it. I made ledger stand behind me a distance away, as I went to investigate the strange object. I walked over as I reached for the lock on the outside. The moment I touched it, I was shot across the yard. " Paige what is that thing?" Asked Ledger. " I am not sure buddy, Let's go see." I said as he grabbed my hand. " Well it's a sphere, it has a note attached to it." I said as I grabbed the note and read it. " What does it say?" Asked Ledger as I read the note. " It says it is a magic sphere that can grant whatever the holder desires, but beware...if used for the wrong intentions. It can lead to disaster." I said as I picked up the sphere. " Well if it grants what I desire....why not give it a try." I said as I made a wish and a small shock was sent through my fingers. " Well what did you wish for?" Asked Ledger. " Nothing buddy, let's hide this." I said as we walked back into the house and placed the sphere in a safe place. 

The next morning I got up for school and soon was headed out the door. I made it to school shortly after as I walked in to the building. I walked through the hall as I saw a poster with my name on it. I walked over to see what is said as my jaw dropped. " Queen Paige of Pine View High." it said in big letters. Just as I thought things could not be more weird, I heard my name shouted down the hallway as a crowd of people came marching down the hallway. " All Hail the Queen." They yelled as I was picked up by the crowd and carried into the gym. " Put me down" I yelled as I was placed into a throne in the middle of the gym floor. My friend Cooper came walking out as he held a mic in his hand. " Ladies and gentlemen I give you your Queen." He said as a crown was placed on my head. " All hail the Queen." They shouted as all the popular girls cried. " Thank you?" I said back as I sat. After the crowd died down I called my friends over to see me. " What is going on Paige" Said CJ. " I have no idea?" I said as Lilli gave me a look. " You do know, what happened." she said. " Okay come with me." I said as I left and we all went to my house. 

I sat everyone down as I contemplated how to explain what was going on. " Okay so last night I found a magic sphere that grants wishes." I said as they all laughed. " Im not joking I can show you." I yelled as I walked into my room and grabbed the sphere. " See!!!!" I yelled as they went silent. " Woah you really were not kidding." Said Kieran. " I must have it." Said Logan. " No!!" I yelled. " What does it do." Asked Ian. " It grants what ever the holder desires." I said as Lilli raised her hand. " Can I try it." She asked, " Sure." I said as I gave her the sphere. She closed her eyes as she made a wish. " Well what did you wish for?." I asked as she smiled. " Oh you'll see...." She said as Logan stood up and walked over to her. " Lilli I haven't noticed how beautiful you really look." He said as she blushed. " Wow....I can't believe you." I said as she looked at me. " What you would do the same thing if you could." She said as they held hands on the couch. " Well anyways I am popular now." I said. " Yeah why did you wish for that." Said Ian. " I have always wondered what it felt like to be popular." I said as I held my crown in my hand. " This is bad...I think it's all gone to her head." Said CJ as I laughed. " Hahaha you're so funny." I said as he laughed. " This is to remain a secret!!." I said as they all agreed.
