Getting an update

Wiress's P.O.V

David lead me to the lab. I was more comfortable with him. When I said that nobody knew what Peter did, I kinda forgot about David. He's the one who found me in my room crying. I was pulled out of my thoughts when we had gotten to his lab.

"That was the last purple core we had. But we've got red matter cores now which is what Rabbit now has, it's slightly more stable then blue matter." He explained to me as I sat on the metal table. "Do you think you'd like that?" He asked.

I nodded, purple matter was very unstable but I've had it for almost 190 years. That's why I'm always glitching and malfunctioning. To have something more stable would be fantastic.

"Alright I'm going to shut you down and since red matter conflicts with copper I'm going to change your plates with a porcelain type material." He explained to me more.

I agreed and everything went dark.

David's P.O.V

After about two hours of updating Wiress, I was finally done. I started her up and waited. I heard the gears starting up and smiled when her dull, grey eyes lit up red.

She blinked a few times then looked at me. She swung her legs over the side of the table.

"Am I all done?" She asked, her voice was much smother and less staticky.

I nodded, "Yup, everything seems to be okay."

Wiress's P.O.V

I stood up and tested the new updates, the Wi-Fi was definitely faster now. I walked out of the room. There's only a few rooms with doors here, if you ask for one you can get one, which David and I both did.

I made my way into my room, it took about 10 minutes since my room was quite a ways away from David's lab. Once I was there I opened my door and saw Hare lying down in my bed.

"Woah." He said as he stood up. "Did he have to update you?" He asked, swiftly making his way to me.

I nodded my head as he wrapped his arms around me.

I pulled away after a few seconds and sat on my bed. Steam left my lips when I sighed. I ran my hand through my hair and realized David had given me a new eye to replace my broken one. That's probably the highlight of my day.

I didn't notice Hare when he sat next to me. I glanced over at him and saw he had a worried expression on his face.

"I'm fine, I think I just need to go into stasis." I told him while laying down on my bed.

He nodded, "I should probably get back home.." He trailed off, getting up and walking to the door. "I'll see you later, okay?" He asked.

"Okay." I replied back to him.

After he left I went into to stasis.

Spine's P.O.V

So much has happened in the past week I don't even know what's going on anymore. Wiress's and I used to be so close and then I ruined it. I wish I never over reacted and make such a huge mess. I wish I knew how to make it up to her.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when there was a knock on my door frame. I saw Rabbit standing there.

"Hey." I said, waving her to come in.

"We need to talk." She said with a stern look on her face. She folded her arms over her chest.

"Not right now." I told her standing up, walking out of the room downstairs.

I made my way out of the Manor. I needed a break so I thought I'd go to the rose garden to clear my head. I let out a sigh along with a puff of steam. I had my song book with me so maybe I could start some songs for the new album that we're working on.

Once I found my way to the rose garden I took a seat on the bench.

I stayed there for hours working on songs, I didn't even realize that it had gotten dark.

Wiress's P.O.V

I shot up from my bed, a nightmare of The Spine trying to hurt me again played over and over again in my head. I wrapped my arms around myself, closing my eyes tight. I got out of bed and changed into some pants and a dark hoodie. I made my way out of my room and outside. I decided that I could clear my head with a walk.

I saw someone walking out of the garden and I froze. The green dots in the distance sent a chill through my body. I quickly made my way out of the gate and started my walk.

"Wiress?" Someone called out.

I froze, the voice very familiar, Spine. I quickened my pace and let out a sigh of relief when I saw he wasn't following me.

I made my way down the familiar path, I was slower than normal so it took me about 30 minutes to get to where I was headed.

Once I got to the door I knocked on it lightly. I heard rustling and then the door swung open.

Skully was there looking down at me, he had an angry expression but it changed back to his normal face.

"I'm glad it's you, Hare locked himself in his room." A puff of smoke came out of his vent on his neck.

"I'll talk to him." I said as I walked in.

I made my way to Hare's room and tapped on the door.

I heard a muffled 'go away'.

"Aww I really wanted to see you, but I guess I'll go." I teased, making the sound of me walking away with my feet.

I heard things falling and not two seconds later the door swung open.

"Wait!" He said before he realized I was still at his door.

A smirk took over my face as I wrapped my arms around him. His arms wrapped around me and he picked me up taking me into his room. He kicked the door shut and gave me kisses all over my face.

"I," kiss. "Missed," kiss. "You." Kiss

I smiled at him, "I missed you too."

He laid me down on the bed and hovered over me.

"What're yo-" I was cut off by him kissing me.

His kiss was passionate and loving. I kissed back, wrapping my arms around his neck trying to pull him closer.
