Chapter 1: Trying to speak

A/N: Hello my lovely readers I'm trying my hand at a werewolf story I hope you enjoy it!

Jades POV:

I got up slowly figuring it was early in the morning, I felt around for my walking stick and felt the cool metal wolf part on the top. I gripped it in my hand and slowly stood up being careful not to make a sound and felt my way around the attic that was my bedroom.

I made my way towards an old cupboard that held clothing in it and got down on my knees Nd slowly opened a drawer feeling the soft material of leggings and pulling them out placing them beside me. I left the shirt I was sleeping in on and slipped on the leggings getting my walking stick off the floor and made my way to the window on the opposite side of the room.

I slid the window open and climbed out carefully making my way to the edge using my feet to determine how far from it I was. I threw my walking stick over then felt around the edge with my fingers and stood up slowly. I held my breath and pushed my body forward feeling myself fall until I hit the ground.

The hard landing knocked the wind out of me and I felt a burning at the end of my leg knowing I probably broke my ankle but I didn't care I was so close to my freedom. I quickly felt around for my walking stick ignoring the throbbing pain in my ankle as I stood up and started running my feet carrying me into the woods.

I kept running for what felt like hours I could see some of the orange rays of sunlight streaming through parting of the trees as I kept running more bright colors coming into view from flowers and animals that were around me. I took a moment to catch my breath leaning against a tree and heard twigs snap in the distance, my head snapped up to follow the scent and without a second thought I started running again. A/N she's able to see color, everything and everyone has a color.

It wasn't very long till I heard the thundering of paws sounding behind me as I kept running, I stopped in my tracks and stood still as the wolves surrounded me. Their scents didn't match those of roughs so they must belong to a pack. I looked around and saw three wolves in front of me, the bigger of the three who had a soft blue color came closer and shifted back to human form.

"What are you doing on the Alpha Kings land?" the voice yelled, I dropped to my knees and let out a shaky breath as I saw him come closer, I spoke in a confident voice to the male "I'm very sorry, I ran away from my previous pack hoping to find help." I saw him kneel in front of me sighing. He spoke after a few minutes as I situated myself in a sitting position on the ground

Jakes POV:

I growled softly as I heard my beta mind link me "Alpha there's a female here who looks injured we need you to come down here" I sat up my black hair tousled as I get out of my bed and grabbed my shirt.

I got to the front door and shifted starting to run into the woods the direction my beta gave me. I smelled the most intoxicating smell ever, like fresh mint and evergreen trees. I stopped In my tracks as the pack warriors and my beta moved showing my beautiful mate.

I growled loudly "MATE!" I boomed as I shifted back, I walked towards her putting shorts on I grabbed out of a tree. She was curled up in a ball her long white hair on the ground next to her. I slowly bent down and gripped her arm softly, I heard her gasp from the sparks I felt.

I slowly picked her up as she gripped what looked like a walking stick. I looked at my beta "Mind link the pack doctor we'll be there in 10 minutes" he nodded as we started running towards the pack house my mate gripping the walking stick tightly.

Jades POV:

I felt myself being lifted into my mates arms I felt the sparks and instantly relaxed, the rain slowly falling on my face as I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes.

I felt like I shouldn't trust them but the alpha king was the alpha king I had to submit or he might kill me. I sighed softly and wiggled around earning a growl from my mate, I immediately stopped and stiffened. "Kitten we're at the pack hospital" I let go of the walking stick looking up at the same white color my skin was.

I slowly reached out to touch his face my fingers finding his nose, cheeks, and then his lips. I felt his tongue dart out and lick them and my fingers. I softly smiled and felt his jawline and I mean damn when I say it.

He set me on one of the doctor tables and I saw his white color move to the chair next to me, the doctor walked in and talked to my mate before coming to me. "Darling I'm going to need you to strip please, I need to evaluate your injuries."

My breathing hitched as I stood up slowly whimpering from the pain that shot through my leg, I reached behind me and fumbled with the corset ribbons, I suddenly felt hands around me and untying the ribbons. It was my mate, I leaned forward against him and inhaled his sent, strawberries and lilies.

He slowly pulled the corset off revealing my scarred, bruised and beaten upper body. I slowly slipped off the leggings showing the rest of my bruises and scars, my back and behind covered in whip marks along with my thighs, stomach and arms. I heard a growl come from my mate.

I reached out to touch him and heard him move closer, I slowly wrapped my arms around his torso and stuck my head in his neck inhaling his sent. "Kitten who did this to you?" He growled out as I pulled away. I shook my head and took his hand, he led me to what sounded like a scale.

I limped over to it and stood on it, I heard two gasps and my mate mumble, "how is she only 67 pounds." I reached around for his hand again and he led me back to the table. I gripped the material of my leggings my back facing the doctor and my mate, the long lashes of the whip showing, I covered my mouth as one slowly opened again when I bent over.

Jakes POV:

I stared at my mates back in awe, how could this happen to a beautiful girl like her. I slowly reached out to touch one and felt her flinch away, I helped her into her leggings and then put my shirt over her, it coming a few inches below her knees. Me being 6'4 she looked about 5'3, I held her in my arms as she fell asleep.

The doctor looks at me and takes a deep breath, "alpha you might want to brace yourself for this" I sit down and motion for him to go on. "The Luna has been abused multiple times, including whipping, beating, that's of course why she's a blind mute."

He finishes and by the end I'm shaking, I need to learn her name. I need to get her to talk. I thank the doctor and leave the hospital my mate in my arms asleep, I walk to my house and push the door open. I sigh and jog up to my room and kick the door open.

My mate stirs as I set her down, I pull off my jeans and take off my socks then get in next to her and pull her closer, she immediately nuzzles my chest and smiles softly. I yawn and shut my eyes falling asleep holding her tightly.
