Niall didn't think this is how his senior year would start. Not that he was complaining. It was the opposite actually. He had never been happier. At the beginning of summer break Niall Horan met Liam Payne. And it was love at first sight.

He didn't think he'd be standing in front of his mirror wearing a light blue a line skirt that had white stars on it and stopped above his knees with a lacy white tank top tucked in to it.

He didn't think Liam would still be with him after he confessed how comfortable he was in woman's clothing and that he felt more like himself.

Niall didn't think a bad boy like Liam, all covered in tattoos and piercings, would fall in love with a boy who wore dresses and flower crowns.

But it was happening.

Niall brushed out his shoulder length silvery lavender hair and placed a white and yellow flower crown on his head. He smiled when he saw Liam's walk in to the reflection. He turned around with a blush on his face.

Liam smiled. "Baby, you look gorgeous." He said, walking up to the boy and placing his hands on his hips.

"Thank you," He replied, voice soft. "I'm nervous, though."

"I know, but don't worry about it. You look amazing and any who doesn't agree is jealous." Liam kissed Niall's lips. "Get your shoes on and we can leave."

Niall nodded and walked to the bed, sitting down on it and slipping on baby blue ballet flats. He stood up and grabbed his flower print messenger bag and walked over to Liam. Liam grabbed his black book bag from the floor and slung it over his shoulder before taking Niall's hand and walking out of their flat.

It didn't take them long to reach school. Liam parked and looked over at Niall. He frown, seeing Niall sitting there with his eyes closed. "Baby, it's going to be okay." He spoke softly, resting a hand on Niall's thigh. "If anyone gives you a hard time, let me know. I'll deal with them okay?"

Niall let out a breath and opened his eyes. "I'm sorry," He mumbled.

Liam shook his head and leaned over to kiss Niall's cheek. "Don't apologize, love. It's going to be a good school year, I promise." He stated.

Niall smiled and nodded. Liam got out of the car and jogged to the smaller boy's side, opening the door and helping him out. He wrapped his arm around Niall's waist and kissed his cheek, leading the boy inside the school. They had gotten their lockers a week before schools started and were walking to Niall's first. Liam noticed his locker was nearby across the hall. He smiled.

"We're not that far away, love." Liam said with a smile. Niall smiled as well.

"Good," He replied. "But we don't have very many classes." The lilac haired boy pouted.

"I know love but our lunch is the same and if I can I'll walk you to the classes we don't share."

Niall nodded and smiled, hoping he'd be able to get through the school year without Liam constantly by his side.

When lunch came around, Niall headed to his locker, smiling when he saw Liam waiting there for him. "Hey beautiful," He said, wrapping his arms around Niall's waist. "Ready to head to lunch?" He asked.

Niall nodded and they two of them walked to the cafeteria and got their lunch. They headed outside with their trays and Liam spotted his friend Zayn setting at a table already. "Hey, Liam!" He called. Liam nodded and led Niall table.

They both sat down next to each other. "Zayn, good to see you. I want to introduce you to my boyfriend, Niall." Liam said, looking at Zayn then turning to Niall. "Niall, this is my best friend Zayn."
