Once they had established the girl had no broken bones or serous injuries, Katie helped the girl to her feet and asked her name.
The girl replied, "Emily... E..e..Emily. Who are you?"
Katie told the girl her name and asked what she was doing out there. Emily said she was just going for a midnight ride just like Katie, but lost track of time.
Rusty was making really good friend with Starlight... They were nuzzling each other and playing around.
"Geldings..." Katie said sarcastically "they're like stallions!"
The two girls laughed and sat on there horses and ponies.
Katie finally admitted she was lost. Katie had a unexpected reply of Emily, " I am too, I was riding and Starlight got spooked and galloped off, when I couldn't hold on I just gave up and let go, he must have stopped when I came off?"
They decided to take their saddles of and hide them under leaves, because they would be a long time. So when they had finally got back to their homes they could go back for the saddles. Thankfully they both had ridden bare-back before.
