When I say I love the rain, I love cuddling with you to seek warmth in a really cold time. When I say I love the sun, I mean I love the time we spend with each other. All the picnic dates, hanging around in the beach. I love the sun because I get to spend time with you outside and show you off to everyone.. to everyone that I know and I don't know. When I say I love the wind, I love the feeling of breeze that surrounds me laced with your scent. I love the wind because even if you're away from me it brings the smell of you, the feel of you to me.
I take an umbrella in the rain because what girl likes to ruin her clothes that she took hours to get ready to meet you. I seek shelter in the sun, because I do not enjoy the burning sensation of the harsh sun says on my skin. I close the Windows in the wind because I don't want it to wreck everything that took me years to put together within a fraction of a second.
Yes I love you. Yes I will always give you priority. However that doesn't mean that I will allow you to destroy me or everything that we have built together. I will walk away from anything that ruins me. That's why I take an umbrella. That's why I seek shelter. That why I close the windows. Because what you love the most ends up hurting you the most as well. Don't doubt my love. Don't doubt us. Because I will always give you 100%. That means I want your 100% as well. Not one less... I will put myself first.
I have lived without you. And I perfectly capable of doing it again. So don't doubt me.
