Chapter 3

Walking around the boulevard where the Wentz residence was located, Brendon asked him many things.

Why are you at the Wentz party? Invited.

How long have you been at Grassland High? I just transferred here.

Like anyone? Not at the moment

At the same time, Ryan asked him many things as well.

Why don't you join in during Gym class? I hate sports

Favorite subject? Music.

Brendon didn't want to ruin the peace they had but then he just had to ask.

"When you moved here... didn't they tell you anything about me?"

That was sort of like, a thing. Whenever someone would move to Grassland High, the first person they'd know about is Brendon Urie. You could say that he is the kid that your parents tell you not to play with. He's sort of like the candy that people tell you not to buy because it's dangerous. And Ryan Ross? He's the kid who buys that candy anyway.

"Well, they told me that you punched a tiger in Africa."

Brendon chuckled "That's not true."

Ryan nods "I know." Brendon smiled. Ryan was the first person who talked to him about anything other than sex or who to beat up next.

"So tell me more about yourself. You're actually more interesting than most people think you are. Tell me about your family."

'Wow' Brendon thought to himself. Whenever someone would ask him about his mother or father, he would laugh and tell that person to fuck off.

His father? Brendon laughed hysterically at the thought. The bruises on his back and the cuts on Sarah's arm were way too fresh to even pity, rather than love, that pathetic son of a bitch.

And his mother? Well, who wouldn't love some slut who died whoring off god knows where.

But if someone, were to ask who he loved more than anything in this world. The answer would definitely be Sarah. Sarah was born four years before his Mom left them and two years before she died. She doesn't remember anything about her mother and Brendon is the only family she's ever had. Ever since she was a baby, Brendon was the one who took care of her. Even when his mother was around, it was always Brendon. And without Sarah, Brendon would be nothing.

The teen told Ryan everything. Ryan listened to everything he said. Even though Ryan didn't really know what it was like, considering he came from the happiest family that ever existed, he somehow connected to Brendon.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Ryan whispers. Brendon nods. He didn't really have anything to say anymore.

"The dark is daunting isn't it."

"Yeah, It is..." Brendon would never admit it but he was terrified of the dark. He couldn't sleep without a nightlight. Which is probably why he doesn't really get much sleep as everyone else.

"But, the stars. They're beautiful." Ryan said, smiling at the other boy. Brendon looked up. There was only one star lighting up the night sky.

"Do you ever think about what if the stars had names? As in real names, people names?"

Brendon shook his head. "Well,  I just named that one." Ryan smiles.

God his smile. Ryan smiles like Ryan doesn't care. That he lives in a world so unaware. Does he know that Brendon's destiny lies with him?

"What did you name it?" Brendon  asked

"That star reminded me  of the kindest, most misunderstood person I've ever met. So, I named it Brendon."

And that's when Brendon did something he really wish he hadn't. He cried. He really hated crying. Especially in front of people.

"It's okay Brendon. I'm here." That made it even worse the thought of having someone who was there for him, it really just got Brendon every time.

RYAN

Ryan looked at Brendon with pure fascination. He was honestly an extremely beautiful person. the way his eyes twinkled was so cliche that it wasn't. If that made sense.

That night, he took Brendon home. He obviously wasn't in the condition to bring himself to his house so why should he have to? Brendon fell asleep in Ryan's car that night. He was so cute when he was asleep. It was almost as if he was smiling.

Ryan couldn't sleep. He didn't sleep. He just watched Brendon dream. He said a few words. But Ryan told himself not to mention it.

'whatever' ryan thought to himself. Because all he knew as of now, was that he was somehow infatuated. In love maybe,

with Brendon's anime brown eyes.

His huge beautiful smile.

he was in love with everything about him.
