Chapter 2
If Brendon Urie had to describe his entire life in two words it would probably be 'hanging on.' First of all, he was surprisingly hanging on in school. His grades were from F to E. Actually, E is probably the highest he's ever gotten since he was like ten.
And after school, he'd have to go "home" to the shithole he and his sister, Sarah, {A/N: Yeah I'm sorry.} lived in. Sarah was the only reason he was still alive. He loved her more than anything in this world. If Brendon remembers correctly, home wasn't always as bad as it is now. When his Mom was around, it was actually amazing. His Mom and Dad were happy. But ever since his Dad died, and his Mom found his stepdad, Frank {Not Iero bc he is a ball of sunshine} it was different.
It was midnight, It was finally New Years Day. Brendon wasn't happy. He was fucking miserable because it meant that he had to go through another year. He wanted to be gone. He didn't want to be around. He wanted to be dead.
He faked a smile for his little sister Sarah. Sarah Urie was a happy kid. Personality wise, she was the opposite of Brendon.
"Brendon! It's New Years! The world didn't end! Look at that firework over there! It's 2016!"
He held up Sarah. Sarah was the last happiness he had in his life.
"Beebo?"
"Yes Bite Size?" Brendon chuckled
"Promise me this year will be better." Sarah whispered. Brendon nodded, kissing his sister on the forehead. The moment was quiet, until Brendon heard his father's voice.
The bastard was home.
He put Sarah to sleep before he his Dad could get upstairs and he snuck out.
Brendon Urie's father wasn't like most fathers who treat their kids like their best friends. He was the type of father who didn't even treat his kids with decency. But then again, he was their stepfather. He took all the money Brendon made from his job at the nearest Starbucks to buy booze. Brendon was the one making ends meet. Not Frank.
Brendon went to the place he had always spent New Year's. Pete Wentz's house. Pete was the kid who always had parties at his house. And for some reason his parents never really scolded him for the mess. Or the fuck-ton of drugs he'd buy. His parents would just let him do whatever the fuck he wanted.
"What is up Urie?" Pete yelled. He was a little tipsy. Fuck it, he was shitfaced.
He patted the blond teen on the shoulder and continued to look around. He basically knew all of these people. just not exactly in the best way. On the couch sat Daniel Howell, who walked away when he saw Brendon. He remembers the time that He beat the life out of Dan when they were in freshman year.
Patrick Stump with his girlfriend Elisa. They shot him a glare. Thinking of the time that Brendon threw his Math book at Elisa and the time he poured paint all over Patrick. Let's just say that Brendon Boyd Urie was the popular one with a bad reputation.
And there he stood. Ryan Ross. The boy from the last day of school before they went off to Christmas break.
"Hey! You're the boy from literature class right?" Brendon muttered.
Ryan nodded. He was honestly surprised that someone as popular and prom king-y as Brendon Urie remembered him. Not much people do actually.
"You remember me..." Ryan mumbles. During Christmas break, Brendon couldn't stop think about Ryan. He wasn't sure if he liked him. I mean, he wasn't gay! Brendon had never liked guys and never will!
Brendon nods. "So, you want to hang out?" That was probably the most awkward thing he had ever said in his entire life. But thankfully Ryan agrees
