Tony's P.O.V.

"You mean ya'll seperated us after the party and everyone had left, and took our memories of each other away just like that?"

Paw nods slowly, his eyes red with tears.

"I know you hate us. But you have to understand, back then you two weren't safe."

"Does she know?" I finally ask the question that's been sitting on my tongue ever since he finished his story.

Paw hung his head, rubbing his eyes with his thumb and index finger before pinching the bridge of his nose. "Hamaliel called Travis after I spoke with him. Travis is probably telling her everything, showing her the scrapbook, as we speak."

"Does she feel it, too? The mating pull, I mean?" I ask hopeful.

Paw shakes his head, "I don't know for sure. But when she called earlier about the so-called rogue issue. She said she followed the rogue to our border because her wolf told her to follow it. Her wolf wanted to follow it. She said the scent called to her..."

"When you give us our memories back.... We'll have all the emotions we had before as well, right?"

Paw nods, "Everything you felt before will come back. You'll remember everything... But I will warn you... Tony I can't promise how Lily will react to this. You will probably want to rush over there and hold her... But I must warn you, somethings have changed... Things have happened to Lily and she may not accept this as easily as I know you will. You've always been there for her, and she you... But it has been five years..."

"I know. I'm ready."

Then Paw stood, chanting something in the ancient tongues, he waved his hand around my head and closed his eyes, whispering words that sounded so beautiful, and then different emotions and mental pictures flooded my brain, it took me a moment to process that it was every memory I had with Lily... from the day she was born to the last day I saw her... Her first word, which was my name. Her first bike ride. Her first day at school. Her first training exercises, where Paw told me to go easy on her and she kicked my butt. Her first prank, which was on me of course. Her first scary movie, where she held on tightly to me. Her first bully, who had to deal with a really pissed off me. Her first bad word, which sounded so right coming off her lips, she called me a Dick, which I guess I was kinda being one, I painted her favorite pair of camo shoes pink.

Everything. We were together for everything... Paw was right... All I wanna do is run to her and hold her... I've always felt like something was missing. Now I know, I was missing my best friend. And now I need her...

The phone rang, bringing me out of my thoughts. I hadn't noticed the tears pouring down my face and the stupid smirk on my lips.

"Show time." Paw announces as he grabs the phone. "Hey Travis."

God I hope she accepts this... Now that I know. I need her.

Lily's P.O.V.

I sit on the edge of the bed, star struck as I flip through each and every memory. My first baseball game. First football game. First funeral. First bike wreck. First basketball game. First four wheeler ride. I was there for his first shift, he got angry 'cause I lied and told him I had a crush on another boy, though it's not like I could ever have told him I liked him... We were attached at the hip. And they just tore us apart and stripped us of our memories...

"Everyone else was there. They're in the memories, too?" I ask, going over a memory of us at Cecil's lake swimming. There's Clay jumping off a tree branch. Gator and Kendal sitting on the bank watching us, along with Travis. Ernest swinging on a rope about to do a cannonball into the middle of the lake, right on top of his brother, Davantae. And Tony and I splashing each other in the deepest part of the lake...
