My crush and his "best friend"- A Raura Fanfic

Chapter 5:

New day. Didnt start of well. We got our geographics test back and well I wasnt too good at it...And as if that wasnt bad enough the teacher kept talking and talking and talking .

Next was English. 

"So we will do group work. Group of four please" Ross turned around to me and Nina and smiled. Gosh his smile always makes me feel butteflies in my stomach. "Can we join you?" Laura asked sweetly and I nodded. "Cool lets get started" Nina said and I just sat there and nodded. I am always so nervous when he talks to me or just says something and I am standing there as well. I remember our awakward conversation we had a couple days ago at the shopping centre. 

I hope I wont make this much of a fool of myself this time.

It all went well at first. Not because we got some work done, I dont really care about that but because I was talking to him and he listened very carefully to everything I said. And I didnt make a fool of myself for once! I said things that make sense and I didnt stutter. Yay! 

"Thats it, final task done" Ross announced and he hold his hand up for a high five. He high fived me first. That means I touched his hand! Even though it was only a very brief moment, I felt the sparks. I wonder if he did too. Probaly not. He probaly feels the spark when he high fives Laura, I thought bitterly. He high fived Nina and then Laura. Instead of just briefly highfivíng Ross kept Lauras hand in his. Laura tried to take her arm back but he kept a  strong hold on her  hand and played with her fingers. 

I was upset while watching them being all cute. The whole time after we finished the tasks early they were playing around. Being all touchy. Urgh.

Nina must of noticed because right after the lesson she asked me what just happened until I admitted that I somewhat do like Ross.

"And you are like jealous that they are friends?" "Not only that they are friends, its more the flirting and them being this touchy-feely" "Mh I get what you mean. But they arent dating are they? So he is single. You know what I am going to bring the two of you together!"

"How do you think that could work?" I asked weakly. I was too down to seriously protest. 

"Well first you gotta find out more about how close they really are and how they really feel about one another deep down. I can do that for you. Second you need to get closer to him. We will find a way to do that, dont worry. " "Okay" was all I said. 

Nina isnt that kind of person that does what she plans anyways. She wont do anything.

I know this is kinda short and I am sorry. Also what happens here might not be the most interesting but I had the idea of bringing Nina in, and I already have the next chapter planned out in my mind. 

You think Nina will eventually manage to get Mackenzie and Ross together? Or diffrent question: Do you want that to happen or just raura all the way? Comment your thought on that :)
