I made it to her lab, and walked through the doors, "Alphys?!?" I yelled.
She hurriedly went down her escalator, and fast walked over to me, "What is it?!? Is it Jade?! Is it Papyrus and Sans?!?" I was surprised she didn't stutter.
"No no, they're fine.. It's just.. What's up with all of the different experiments lately?"
"O-oh... So.. W-we have human s-souls.. Right?" She sheepishly smiled.
"Yeaaaah?"
"W-well you see... I w-was experimenting a li-little with t-then and fo-found out I-I could ma-make hu-human l-like m-monsters! An-and since S-sans and P-papyrus are s-skeletons i-it would g-grow s-skin, m-muscles, n-nerves, anything that t-the human body nee-needs!"
"W-woah... So.. Does it wear off?"
"Oh yes! Monster sou-ls have a har-hard time k-keeping determination, s-so it will we-wear off. A-as for J-jade... Tha-that is a whole d-different story.."
"Can you tell me?" I asked, growing to be nervous.
"Well... I-I t-took her original human b-body and put h-her soul back in her.. Weirdly m-making her al-alive again! H-her face and h-head unfortunately di-didn't work well... A-Asgore hur-hurt her too much.. W-well I mean he killed he-her!! Anyways, t-that is why she had the T-Tv.. I thought it w-would he monster l-like so she could blen-blend in down her-here!"
I gasped, and thought for a moment, "w-why are you taking the souls?!?"
"B-because we only need o-one human soul t-to cross t-the barrier..." She sighed, "w-we had six.."
"Makes sense.. B-but does Asgore know?" I asked, slightly not as uncomfortable.
"Yes.."
"W-well thank you." I smiled at her.
"You are wel-welcome" she paused and wanted me to wait, "s-some time do you w-want to-o w-watch me-mew mew ki-kissy cu-cutie?"
"Sure" I laughed and ran out, needing to get some air, running all the way to Snowdin.
