I jumped onto the bus in a nick of time. None of my friends get on at my stop so I had to wait for the next stop. I went up the stairs as we have a horrible, chavvy double decker bus and sat at the front. I plugged my headphones into my phone and put my earphones in my ears . Flicking through my music I had to find a song I was actually in the mood to listen to. Stitches by shawn mendes. Perfect. I put the song on repeat until I finally saw Amy at her bus stop. I waved down to her too make sure she knew where i was. She waved back and we both cracked a smile of nervousness as our first day of year 8 awaited us.
I paused my music and put my phone on silent, placing it into my blazer pocket. I turned around and stood up to give any a massive hug as we hadn't seen eachother for 6 weeks!! We sat down together and started gossiping. Amy was my best friend. She had short, straight gingery-blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was popular like me, however I was the leader of my squad. Before long other people in my squad started arriving. Erin, Ella, lily. We all exchanged giggles and nervous glances when we remembered that there was a new boy joining. I texted my absolute best friend Shannon as I knew he was on the same bus as her.
Me: heya, how's the new boy Xx
Shannon: he's amazing!! He's absolutely gorgeous. All the girls have fallen for him but he's having none of it xx
Me: really who's form is he in? Xx
Shannon: 8ak!!! Our form!!!! Xx
Me: OMG really?!? Xx
Shannon: yep, gtg now my bus is at skwl, I'll meet u @ the old oak tree
Me: KK X
Before long we arrived at school where I met up with all of my friends. Then I saw him. The new boy.
