     ~~~I have to tell her. I can't do this to Claire. But I don't have it in me to tell her my secret...~~~
I'm Ryan Clarks. You've probably heard of me; I'm the most popular guy at my school. I'm nominated for homecoming king and the school year hasn't even started. I'm the best lacrosse player and am dating the hottest girl at school, Claire Bird.
You're probably thinking that I've got it great and shouldn't be sad, but I am. I'm miserable. I'm living this life that I don't want to live. I go to clubs all of the time and just watch people dance freely, living life to the fullest. I long to be like them but if I were to be who I truly am, I would make so many people sad.
My family is VERY religious. Every day after lacrosse practice I have to go to church and pray. That's one of the reasons why I can't be my true self.
Also, I can't do that to my girlfriend. I would have to break up with her and that would leave her heartbroken. I've been distant lately and she must think somethings up.
I pretended to be sick this morning so my mom let me stay home from school. I decide to call this guy I met at a bar, Zach. He picks up and asks me to meet him at a local cafe. I don't think it would do any harm just to get to know him...
