Prologue

Link closed his eyes, his mind seeing a cloaked figure, revealing a young bewitching princess. "What? Say something! Are too surprised that you don't possess any words left?," Midna smiled in Link's mind. "Midna! It's been too long since I saw you!," Link's conscience holding the young woman's hands, warming them with his heart. Midna smiled, her hands full of joy,"I desire you to see me. Mind if you come towards my world?" Link's conscience's eyes widened in astonishment,"Midna, don't you recollect? The Mirror of Twilight was shattered by your tear when you left. How'll I make it there?" "There is a way, named the Twili River, flowing behind Zora's Domain's waterfall. Follow that river, and you'll find me.," Midna vanished, letting go of Link's conscience. Link opened his eyes after hearing another woman call his name,"Coming Zelda!" Princess Zelda came rushing after seeing her childhood friend stand in silence,"What's gotten into you? Everyone's waiting for your return! Even Ilia! When she didn't see you back at the village, she sent me to find you." Link looked down,"Look, Zelda...I hate to say this, but I need to go somewhere. It's a solo mission for me, you know how it is..." "You sure you don't want me to come?," Zelda lifted his head with her finger. "I'm sure, and I'll be back soon.," Link opened his wings, flying away from his childhood friend, towards the heavens.

Link landed on a small cloud, seeing all of Hyrule right below his feet. He then finally sighed in relief, then landed on his back, becoming startled by a young girl in a white dress, holding a golden harp. He flew up, startled at the young girl's appearance,"Uh, morning, Hylia? I didn't expect you to come so quickly!" Hylia opened her wings, heading toward Link, her face in depression,"I need to speak to you, Hero of Light..."
