"Well about time!," Link sat up from the bed, then pinned by Midna, cursing under his breath. "You can't wait, can you?," Midna smiled. "Ugh! Lemme up!," Link pushed Midna away, letting him sit up. Midna giggled,"Well? Let's get you cleaned up." Link tilted his head in confusion,"Uh, what're you talking about?" Midna pulled him outside toward a small alley, then dumped a bucket of water on his head making him wet. Link shook his head,"Hey! What was that for?" "Just to clean you up a bit! Well, I might as well give you the cloak.," Midna reached for Link's cloak while letting him get dried off. "Thank you.," Link retrieved the cloak from Midna's hands, seeing the embroidery stitched once piece at a time,"Traditional embroidery?" Midna smiled,"Just place it on! I wanna see how you look before we go!" Link began to unfold the cloak,"Uh, a little help, just like you promised..." Midna giggled,"Okay." She began to unfold the pieces, revealing a cloak as large as him, then placed it on his head. Link glanced up at Midna,"Thank you." "You're welcome.," she placed the final pieces of Link's Twili clothing, his woven choker holding the jewel, then smiled,"You look amazingly handsome. Now you're fit to come." Link felt the silk covering his body, soft and pure to the touch, then held out his hand,"Well, Twilight Princess Midna, shall we dine?" "Absolutely, Prince Link.," she took Link's hand while giggling. Link smirked, and scooped her up in his hands,"Gotcha!" Midna began to giggle and kick,"Put me down! I didn't say to pick me up! Ah!" Link giggled,"But, you did desire an escort, did you not?" Midna rolled her while smiling and stopped kicking.
Everyone bowed to Link and Midna as they came to dine. "Is everyone this loyal to you?," Link sat down, seeing his meal and glass of deep rose wine. "Yes, everyone is, well almost everyone.," Midna eyed on Chancellor Night, concealing himself in the shadows, but his tattoos still glowed. "What'd you mean by 'almost everyone'?," Link sipped his wine. "It's nothing, Link. It's just that ever since peace came, everything's back to the way it was like was before the Gerudo Chief came to our realm. You? Do you possess anything to reveal to me, my prince of the Light World?," Midna smiled. Link thought for a moment, attempting to recollect his memories, then smiled,"Well, you did miss a lot while we were separated! I dared Zelda to go an old castle, and you'll never believe what happened!" Midna became interested,"Really? Why don't you tell me?" As the two ate, Link went on with his tale on how he conquered his shadow, Dark Link, with the assistance of Zelda, leaving Midna in surprise. "My! Now that's quite a tale you spun! I might as well tell everyone later.," Midna sniffed her wine, then drank. Link smiled,"Well, there's more, though, but I don't wanna confuse you, Midna. Remember, we just came back together a few hours ago." "True, my friend, very true. Link, can I...You know...Oh, never mind!," she concealed her blushing. "You can tell me if you want to.," Link came up from his seat, heading for Midna, meeting face to face with her. Midna glanced away,"Again, it's-" "Malady,I despise it interfere, but you seem troubled at the moment. Do you desire to go to your room and speak privately to him?," Chancellor Night glanced at Midna, comforting her. She looked up,"Yes, I desire to. I'm done with my meal. Can you take it away?" Chancellor Night bowed and took Midna's plate away. "Midna, is something wrong?," Link felt like he was being pulled by Midna's hand. She didn't respond, but headed for her room with him.
