Link and Zelda trotted through what once was Kakariko Village, now covered in ash, only leaving a few residents in sorrow of their loved ones' death or serious injuries. "All this happened while we were gone? Oh Link, is this my fault?," Zelda began to break down. "It's not your fault. The fault is mine. I shouldn't have left in the first place. Justice needs to be served. Honor and peace need to be restored.," Link noticed a hawk coming, carrying a note with it. "What's wrong?," Zelda noticed the raptor landing on Link's wrist. Link opened the note, gasping at what he was reading,"Ilia was taken away! A strange young boy came to Ordon Village, taking her away to Hyrule Castle. No word of her came ever since. We need to find her!" "Hyrule Castle's a labyrinth! We don't know where she's located! Can you sense her?," Zelda(true self) attempted using her shard of Wisdom to locate Ilia. Link began to open his wings, but pain shot him when he fully awakened them, turning them to pitch,"I can't. The light of day has been blocked by the dark of night. I believe you're the only one who can sense her, Zelda. I can't sense Hylia herself. Her power is weak." Zelda(true self) came close, feeling his wings lose light,"I'm sorry Link. I believe the hopes and dreams of Hyrule have been shattered by fear's arrow. Even the Master Sword lost it's light. I believe we can't use it. The only light that remains is our hope." Link placed his wings back,"Right. We just need a spell or two. Zelda, when your body went into the room with the potions and spell books, was there a spell to destroy a shadow?" Zelda thought for a moment, then snapped her fingers,"Yes! It was on the opposite page of the spell your body did! Sadly, the book of spells that has the mirrored spell is in Hyrule Castle!" "Well, we're heading there anyway! We need to head south-Oh no!," Link noticed a gang of Darknuts and Bokoblins, leading them, a small boy with faded peach skin and blonde hair, concealing his eyes, his cheeks covered in blood,"You there, boy, you're coming with me, as well as your ghostly friend!" "Who are you to mess with us?," Zelda clenched her fists. "The name's Shi, meaning death, death to the both of you! You're under arrest for treason to the children of evil! Both of you!," Shi ordered two Darknuts to take Link's arms. "The Children of Evil?," Link struggled to break free, but failed due to his strength of his wings being weak. "Yes, the rulers of your world! You'll see them soon! In chains!," Shi revealed Link's wings, then revealed them, becoming surprised by the hue,"Well, well, well, it seems the powers of the shadows dyed your wings raven! You'll be placed into use, fallen angel! Take him away, I'll take care of the girl!" Zelda(true self) jolted, then smirked"You'll have to catch me first, Shi!" Shi smirked,"Already did! Now, you're coming with us!" Zelda noticed the synth grabbed onto her, then drag her away with her love, now fallen to the powers of the shadows. Zelda(true self) flew to where Link was, his head down, concealing his shame and dishonor,"Link, we'll save our country! I believe we will!" Link glanced at Zelda(true), then smiled,"Right! I got an idea, but you're gonna have to borrow a body..."
