Walking together?

As I woke up I saw my mom in the hallway on the phone to my dad which was strange but I ignored her because I was used to her craziness now so I put my uniform and went in the bathroom I left my hair in the bun what I slept in and as I came out my bedroom my mom wasn't there anymore.
I quickly went down stairs and made breakfast and swiftly ate it.
I ran out the house with out saying bye to my mom she didn't care anyway.
As I was walking to school I saw Calum walking on his own
I said to my self why would a hot guy like that walk alone?..
A few moments later I noticed him coming towards me so I quickly looked around me to see if he was going to someone else but he came up to me and then he asked "hi Penelope do you mind if I walk with you?"
Obviously I said yes!                    As we was walking I didn't seem as great we didn't talk much but then Lottie saw us and she literally ran towards us and she pushed me out the way just to talk to Calum

" hey Calum why did you push me away yesterday I thought you liked me and what are you doing with this ugly loser!?"
She exclaimed

Calum didn't really reply all he said was
"I don't like and leave Penelope alone you begging maniac!"
Lottie gave both of us a dirty look and walked off.
