Saf reappeared in an alley and walked straight into the crowded sidewalk, trying to blend in. She looked across the street at the large casino sign and walked to the door dissappearing again in the middle of the street and reappearing in the women's bathroom of the casino. She walked out and noticed a large crowd gathered around a blackjack table. She began to make her way toward it. she snapped her fingers and her clothes changed to a waitresses outfit. As she walked a male waiter headed her way and placed down a large tray with drinks on it. She picked it up and spun continuing toward the large crowd as they cheered again.
"Alright, alright, alright, lucky number seven!" yelled a male voice above the crowd. She could hear the rolling of the dice.
"Sevens!" The crowd cheered again and she squeezed her way through the crowd, putting a powdered substance in all the drinks on her tray. As she stopped behind the tall figure she stepped to the side grabbing his empty drink and replacing it with one of her drinks she had on her tray.
The man went to grab his drink but stopped and turned to look at her.
"Well, aren't you a beautiful woman, what brings you by this fine establishment?" He said in his strange accent.
"Just doing my job sir." she said, not lying.
"Well, how about we talk without you trying to drug everyone here? hmm?" He suggested as he leaned toward her.
"Follow me," Saf said turning and walking toward the middle of the floor, where no one was around. The man followed her and stopped when she turned around.
"What can I help you with?" He asked smirking at her, his blue eyes twinkling.
"You're Dean." She asked to make sure.
He looked around and leaned forward grinning. "And if I am? Do I get a prize?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows.
"No, you get to work for some very important people, with lots of money." Saf said into his ear.
"Well, I'm sold... what am I doing exactly?" He asked straightening up.
"Taking down a supernatural terrorist group." Saf said walking toward the bathroom. She walked in with Dean following her and held out her hand to him.
"We at that stage of the relationship yet?" He asked seriously.
Saf scowled and grabbed his hand squeezing hard.
"Shit! ow! that's some grip." Dean squealed and shut his eyes, when he opened them they were on a roof.
"Soooo, you a mage too or am i losing it?" Dean asked with wide eyes, and turning, seeing a helicopter with a massive gun mounted. "Jesus, can I play with the big gun?!" He asked turning toward Saf.
"No, leave the big gun alone, it's not a toy." She said hopping in. "Get in, we have a while to wait for the others."
"Others? I'm not doing this by myself?" He sarcastically.
"No, moron, have to wait for Herc and Apollo to get back with their recruits. He just had to give me the annoying one." She said that last part under her breathe while flipping switches.
"No need to be so mean about it. It was an honest question." He said turning back around when he heard something. "Woah, goth alert, and who is tall, lanky, and scruffy?"
"Hercules, and this is Shadow. Careful Dean, she's a scary one." Herc said walking passed Dean toward the chopper. "Boss report in yet?"
"You know him, he's probably beating someone right now." Saf replied smirking at Dean.
Dean gulped and turned to Shadow who raised her brows at him.
"Got something on my face creep?" She asked.
"No, just admiring your exotic..ness.." He said in confusion, searching for the right word.
Shadow scoffed and disapeared in a puff of smoke, reappearing in the back of the chopper.
"Damn it! why cant i do that?" Dean said loudly causing the others to glare at him.
"Sorry," He said scrunching his face.
"Get in the chopper and wait for the boss to get back." Saf said laying her head back.
"Yes ma'am," Dean said saluting. He hopped in beside Shadow and took out a lighter. He flipped it on and raised his hand. The tiny flame grew till he was holding a softball sized flame in his hand. He began making it expand and compress it into different shapes. Shadow watched on with interest though none showed on her passive face. Dean noticed her watching and smirked, his eyes glowing bright blue. Shadow continued to watch when Dean stepped out and threw the fireball into the air and spreading his arms out caused in to explode. little sparks floated down slowly and Dean raised one hand up spreading his fingers out stooped the sparks. He turned his hand and closed his palm making the sparks glow brighter. He then opened his palm causing flames to errupt from the sparks, causing an enormous globe of fire in the air. He then let go of the magic once the globe started to slowly spin.
"He just..." Herc said in amazement.
"Created a small sun," Saf finished watching in her silence.
"Well, glad to know our search of you wasn't in vain Dean. Now, Cain, get rid of it." Apollo said startling everyone on the roof.
"Wow, your big.. and you have horns. Who is creeped out, raise your hand. No? No one?" Dean said when a massive being with blue skin and horns stepped up behind him. "Do you not stop eating? Ever? Like what is not in your diet? Because i think you sir, need to go on one."
Cain stopped and glared at Dean with his dark red eyes. Dean stopped talking and started opening and closing his mouth like a suffocating fish.
"No," Cain said with a deep growling voice. Dean squeaked and backed up to the chopper.
Cain turned back to the mini sun and raised his head. His horns started glowing and a light started to come from his hands. Suddenly dust particles began falling from the mini sun and was absorbed into Cains horns. this lasted for a few minutes and finally Cain turned to the small group.
"Done," And walked to the chopper and sat in the rear seat.
"Yes you are sir, that was amazing." Dean said turning to Saf and whispered the last part.
"Dean," Apollo said his deep voice coming from right behind him.
Dean jumped and turned, "Yes, yes sir?"
"Shut up and get in the chopper." He said with a deep set face.
"Yes God of War," Dean whispered and sat back in his seat and turned to Shadow when the chopper started whirring on. "I think i just peed myself a little."
Shadow scrunched her face and shook her head at him.
