Chapter 3: My Huggable Roommate

Crystal's POV: After that "Long" hug from Jack, we started to head to our dorm together. I thought to myself, what if it turns out that he's gonna be like one of those "Jock types", and I'll be one of those loners that get laughed at by the "Preps or populars". Now that thought started to give me butterflies in my stomach, which grew and grew every minute..

Crystal's POV: After unpacking and organizing "my side of the room", I started to stare out the window and thought that I wanted to stay here forever, even though I'm staying here for about "3 or 4 years" in this room, with my "roommate". I bet this is gonna be the "best years" of my entire life..with my new "friend". Then, I felt arms wrap around my waist and thought, Who in the world is wrapping their FREAKING arms around a "nerd like me" *sighs* After my 2 minute thought, I turned my head and saw that it was Jack, hugging me.. It made want to throw up all of the butterflies in my stomach on him, but then I touched my face and felt that it was red like a fire truck and burning up like an oven heating up for food to cook... "Um...what in the world are u doing, Jack..," I said very confused, but at the same time "enjoying his company" OMG, Crystal u need to stop this nonsense and let this moment continue while it can... " I thought girls liked hugs...," he said very shocked, but at the same time blushing a little, not as much as me.. *giggles* "Well, most girls have different opinions on different things, such as hugging," I said with a frustrated look on my face.. He let go of me and stood in front of me," Oh, well I just thought u needed one, cuz u were staring out the window like a 'cute puppy' waiting for its owners to return. Then after I saw that, it made me think that u were lonely and I gave u hug to cheer u up," he said with a "sad puppy look" on his face... Awe, he's so cute when he's sad, it just makes me want him more than friends, so he can care for me more...SHUT UP, Crystal and what in the world are u thinking, he would never like a "nerdy girl like u" *sighs* I took a step forward and gave him a hug and then he gasps at the thought of me returning his hug.. "I didn't mean it like that when I said I didn't like hugs, cuz I never thought u wouldn't accept me as who I am... Then I thought u were one of those 'Jock type guys," I said, looking up at him. Quick kiss him before it's too late... WHAT IN THE WORLD CRYSTAL, why would u say something like that, he's just a friend...right? " I never thought that about u, because I thought u were gonna turn out to be like one of those 'preppy girls', like my ex girlfriend, Emma," he said, tightening his grip around my waist, while I'm wrapping my arms around his neck..Wait a minute, he DUMPED HER.. I never noticed that he did... "Y-y-y-your 'ex girlfriend', but I thought u guys were still a 'thing', u know," I said very concerned, but confused at the same time.. "Well, we'll just see what the future has for us...Maybe even more than what it can hold," he whispered in my ear.. OMG, he's breath was so warm and soft that I wanted him to do this more often... Maybe he's right, Maybe the future is holding more than it can.. We'll just have to wait and see...
