Not Really a Unwind Story

Chapter 5: Hurt

The ball had a lot of force pushed into it, that it made me go flying onto the top of the inn. I rolled off the inn and onto the ground. I looked up and saw Mr. Z. His eyes were like lions getting ready to attack. I was scared, but I held back the tears and said, "What's wrong, Mr. Z?" I said that while showing my eyes that looks like a snake about to attack. He said, "Nobody walks away from my favorite SPORT!" When he said that, he slapped me on the face and kicked my legs, which made me fall to the ground. He was going crazy. I wanted to punch him, but you can't disrespect a teacher, you'll get expelled for that. Then he was going to whack me with a bat. He swung the bat as hard as he can, but then Kaine stepped in and said, "You wouldn't want to do that to your student, wouldn't you, teacher. You would be the one to blame". He smiled. His eyes were like a dragon, that was trying to suffocate the lion (lion is the teacher). I was shocked. Mr. Z said, "Tch. Everyone, class dismissed. Kaine take care of this brat". He and everyone walked away. When it was only Anika, Kaine, and me, alone on the field, I asked, "Why did you-", I got cut off when he turned to me and gave me a gentle smile. He said, "You okay?" I was surprised. I said, "Thank you", while starting to cry. A gush of tears came out. I cried and cried. Anika came over to me and wiped my tears. After I stopped crying, I said, "I hate him. I want him to disappear, from this world". Kaine and Anika looked at each other and both said, "We'll help you, so you can count on us". Anika put her forehead against mine, to calm me down. Kaine kissed my hand and said, "We will protect you from now on". I blushed and said, "That's enough". I stood up and walked a couple inches away from them and said, "I don't know what that was about, but okay".
