Not Really a Unwind Story

Chpater 6: Nice Afternoon

After school, I walked to the school gate and Kaine and Anika were waiting for me. Kaine asked, "Why are you late?" I said, "I'm just always like that". We walked to an ice cream truck and we got ice cream and went to the park. We ate and watched the peaceful skies. We played with kites, toys, and other different things. We had a lot of fun. I was happy to see them happy. I was surprised by Anika and Kaine's smile. It felt like they were in heaven. I wanted to stay like that forever. It became evening. I told them, "I had a lot of fun today". Kaine said, "Us too." He smiled and I walked up to him and kissed his forehead. After that, I said, "Now we're even", I smiled. Kaine blushed bright red. I laughed and saw Anika laughing. I looked at her and said, "I'm glad I got to see you smiling today. You looked like you were really enjoying today". Anika said, "I enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much". We said our goodbyes and went home. When I got home, I ate, took a shower, did my homework, and laid on my bed, thinking about what happened today and about Kaine and Anika. Then I fell asleep.
