Out Of The Woods (Kai One Shot ~ Sort Of)

In the Woods

Kai was tied to a tree.They were running.
Kai was thinking about getting himself out of the "damned" situation he was in. The situation Damon and Alaric put and left him in.
She was running when she saw someone tied to a tree. She laughed.
All of a sudden Kai saw a beautiful girl as she slided in front of him.
She came from his left side. She smiled and asked " What did 'you' do, to earn this?".
She found this quite funny.
He didn't say anything as she kneeled in front of him. She cut the chains with a flick of her finger. Then others passed running and laughing.
She offered him a hand and said "Let's go!". He felt like his heart was on blue fire...

They began running with the strange people he didn't recognise. As they were running, Kai found out they were being chased. By what he didn't know.
While running some younger kid with glasses asked "You are wizards, right? So, why don't you just use your magic against them?".
She turned to the kid while running and on that she answered with this "Wizards? Hahaha~Do I look like Harry Potter to you? We are witches. And where would the fun be in that?...Everybody here is a path and has a path."
The kid said "That is so artistic!". "What?? Oooh..well yeah, but that's not what I meant... Hi! I'm Shadow and I'm a sociopath. And that guy over there is a psychopath, so you better stay away from that guy." She smiled as she shaked the kids hand and pointed to the buff guy at the front. "What?"
They were running in this order: Kai, the kid, Shadow(from left to right, in a row), around them some guys and a girl.
They were all running and laughing, even Kai. They were having the time of their lives.

They came to a stop. They all began walking to the darker part of the woods.
Kai and the kid were confused. They stopped.
Kiddo said "I'm not one of you guys...I'm not a witch." Shadow just smiled and said "There are humans there, ya'know. And werewolves, vampires and other things. Like that guy." She said as she pointed to some strange creature.
She laughed and said "I don't know what the heck he is, but he is family....and you are welcome all you have to do is go straight ahead."
"What's the catch?".
She pointed to herself, smiled and said "Only abominations like me can pass the barrier."
She looked at Kai and smiled. He looked at her in awe. He felt like he belonged here....with them...with Her...
"Family doesn't end with blood."
She said, smiled and walked ahead. They all entered the invisible barrier and saw a village like place, lighted up with small lights.(you know....the lights you put on, on Christmas or in your room.) It was BEAUTIFUL.
Kai had a decision to make.
.....Go back....
Or stay...
....?

AN....was it good? I don't know. This is my first time writing a story so...sorry if it sucks or if there are any mistakes and such...Hope you liked it though. ♥♡
