It started out with a few things bending or falling over, then things would float a bit into the air, then everything did and Phil's eyes turned black. It had been like that for forever.

But now things were okay, and Phil was sure that would never happen again.

"Hey sweets." Sarah said to him extra sweetly at breakfast. "Hi love, what's up? You have that look on your face." Phil curiously questions while grinning. "Well... I have this friend in yoga class, and she invited us over for dinner. Will you please come with me?" She asks, pouting slightly.

"Oh, I don't know. I have never met her before, plus I'll be a third wheel." He tells her grumpily, stuffing food in his mouth and looking at the tv. "I promise you'll have fun! She has a husband that will be there, and from what we've said about the two of you, you will get along well." She informs him, puckering her bottom lip out playfully.

"You know I can't say no to that face, no fair!" He yells while giggling slightly. He reaches up and pecks her puckered lips before nodding. "Fine I'll go, but if i get bored, i will leave without you." He says jokingly and she smiles while nodding along. "Sure, but i know you'll have a good time." She says smugly before getting up.

"Now, we need to hurry and get ready to leave for work." She tells him while picking up her plate. He stands as well before grabbing his plate. "Right, another awful day at work." He groans and Sarah sighs.

"I don't know why you still work there Phil. A diner of all places, when you know you aren't good with people sometimes." She says and he nods. "Yeah, but every job works with people. Some less than others, but whatever. I'll be okay." He grins, kissing her cheek then walking upstairs.

He brushes his teeth then puts his shoes on. "I'm leaving, I'll see you tonight. Oh! What time is the dinner?" He asks, putting his jacket on by the door. "We need to be there at five thirty." She says slipping her shoes on. "I don't get off until six love. Is it okay if I'm a bit late?" He questions biting his nail. "That's fine, I'll send you the directions when you get off work. I will head on over though. See you tonight." She kisses him on the cheek before they both head out and get in their cars.
                              -
"Hi, welcome to Jim's Diner, table for two?" Phil asks a couple and they nod. "Alright, follow me." He says, leading them to a table. He informs them a waiter will come shortly before walking to the back of the diner.

"Hey Phil!" His coworker Pj, and also his best friend, says. Pj is the only one that knows about the stuff that went on with Phil. He would probably be the only one that believed him, because he actually saw it happen.

"Hey Peej, how are you today?" He asks and immediately regrets it when Pj goes into this long story about his morning. He zones out after five minutes and stares off into space when Pj realizes he isn't listening. "Dude, have you even been listening? What are you thinking so hard about?" He asks and Phil rubs his face.

"Sarah's friend from yoga wants us over for dinner tonight." He simply states from behind his hands. "Oh man, that sucks. But don't be worried, it hasn't happened in a long time. I'm sure Sarah's friend isn't gonna do anything to change that." He comforts and Phil nods.

"I guess you're right, but im still hesitant. I'm probably gonna be bored out of my mind while I'm there considering I don't know these people." Phil laughs and Pj chuckles.

"True, but hey. Just text me if you get bored. I'll be alone as usual." Pj tells him, giving him a thumbs up and they both laugh. "I'll find you someone dude, don't you worry." He laughs and Pj shakes his head.

"Yeah, whatever. Let's get back to our awful jobs." He smirks, playfully pushing Phil, before they go back to working.
                             -
"Hey, yeah I'm home. I'll just freshen up then head that way." Phil says through his phone when he arrives at home. "Okay, i sent you the address, be careful love." She says back and he smiles. "I will, love you and see you soon." He tells her before they hang up.
