Fin POV

"Good job Bro. You even got him limping, that's wicked." Derek hollered.

I did! I quickly swerved my head in his direction. Panic settling in my chest as I saw the limp. Was pushing him too much, maybe I should have just rustled his hair. I panicked, what was I going to do, I would have to apologize. What if he hated me. Gahh and he was actually kinda nice too.

I gulped nervously and looked over at him again, this time we made eye contact. I felt my stomach jump when he smiled at me gently. I felt myself calm down. Then we just stared at eachother, and I felt myself blush. Wait why did I even blush. I shook my head and breathed in relief, whatever as long as he's fine. I smiled back, then turned back to the jakasses I was sitting with.

"Did I do good then?" I asked in a confident tone.

"Yeah you did really super! We'll have to have you do it again." Zack said.

I smirked, but on the inside I blanched. Just this once was tough for me.

But no choice I responded with, "Sounds good." They laughed with me, but really they didn't get anything. Why was I doing this again? Oh right, popularity and less bullying.

I glanced in Skylars direction again, hoping I'd catch his eye, but he was busy talking to another dude. I felt myself blush when I noticed I was staring.

I turned back to my food and then the bell rang. I frowned, I hadn't gotten to eat much.

"Looks like it time for class," I sighed.

"Dude why don't we skip" Zack suggested.

OMG skip, like I would ever, no wonder why they have no brains. Quick, what's an excuse.

"Naa I wanna see the cute girls in class" I replied. Oh good one, I just hope that was convincing enough.

"Whatever, i'm skipping. Catch you later Bro." he said sneaking out of the lunchrooms backdoor. Well that was anticlimactic.

Man pretending was tough. I really wanna watch some anime right now instead. I'm falling behind in the seasons. If only school and socializing wasn't a thing.

Maybe i'll stop by the store today in the other town to buy the new series that came out. I actually really like the Kiss Him Not Me! Series. So I really wanted the next volume.

Yep that sounded nice.

I got up and headed to class, smiling and winking at the ladies as I walked. Geez I really wanna read some manga or listen to some music. Why do I even need to wink. I don't see what the big deal is.

I wish school would hurry up and end already.

I practically leaped out of the classroom when the bell rang. In fact I had never felt happier. School was finally over for today and I could go buy the next volume. I hated waiting to read them, and when I knew I could get one, I had zero patience.

I had to look around to make sure no one saw me before pulling out my Mp3 player and stuffing my hoodie on. The thing about the hoodie is that it hides me pretty good. I mean, It's all I got, and it mostly covers my hair which draws most of the attention, although it leaves my face shown but it was helpful. I could now sneak out and into town more efficiently.

I closed my locker, and in my excitement didn't pay attention well enough.

I ran straight into a certain brown haired boy. We both kinda fell and stuff scattered across the floor.

"Dang it, and I tried so hard." I cried out in frustration.

Skylar seemed confused and his glasses were a bit off "Um..Sorry?"

I blinked, he looks cute! Wait, no I didn't think that.

I laughed "Sorry that was my fault and i'm still grateful about earlier so thanks again" I scratched my head awkwardly and smiled. Geez what is wrong with me.

Skylar blinked, and tilted his head? "Who...What.. Oh!"

Skylar seemed to notice who I was and gave a questioning look "Um don't take this the wrong way but you look suspicious."

I looked at myself.

I laughed a bit "yeah do I?"

Skylar gave me an annoyed look "You're weird, did you know that?"

I looked at him for a minute and shrugged "Guess so, anyway, look at the time." I checked my watch and smiled "I happen to be in a hurry so i'll catch you later" I gave a small wave before gathering my stuff and rushing off.

Skylar stared after me confused. I snickered as I ran off, his face was just so cute. Okay I need to stop that.
