"Bradford?" Liam exclaimed, "Why there?" Liam questioned.
"Your father has been transferred there for a promotion!" His mother said excitedly like it was the best news ever, when indeed it was. Liam's after had been working hard for this promotion and Liam knew it. He just didnt think the promotion would involve moving to a town over 2 hours away.
"I've been promoted to President of Horan Industries." Liam's father stated proudly. "We will be leaving this weekend. That should be enough time for everything to be ready to move."
"Whoa! This weekend? Today's Wednesday, we have teo days left here?" Liam asked.
"Yes," his father confirmed," I need to be ready Monday morning, we've already got movers and the house ready. All we need is our things now." His father proclaimed with a smile.
"O-Ok, then?" Liam said to his father and made his was upstairs to his room. He walked in to his room and sat on his bed.
Everything was moving to fast for Liam. He would be leaving his hometown, the town he grew up in, he was still trying to comprehend everything. It's not that Liam wasn't happy for his father, but the whole moving thing would shake and teenager.
Of course this would mean leaving his hometown but also meaning a new start. Liam didnt exactly have many friends. It's not that he wasn't friendly but the kids at his school just never didnt interact with Liam. Well except Chris.
Chris is Liam's... well he didnt know what Chris was. They admitted their feelings for each other but neither acted on those feelings. They hung out, shared a few kisses, but Liam thought Chris was just trying to figure out if he was really gay or not.
No one knew about Liam and Chris. Hell, no one knew Liam was gay! He didn't really talk to anyone at school and who was he supposed to tell? His mom? Dad? Right. He still didnt know how they would handle that. He'll cross that bridge when he comes to it.
Right now his fathers focus was on his job and his was on moving. It wouldn't be hard Liam thought. I have no one to say goodbye to or miss, not even Chris. He probably wouldn't even tell him he's moving.
Liam let out a sign. Better start now, he thought, starting to pack all his stuff.
