Sally Williams was a jovial child. She was an innocent little girl with 8 years of age. She had two best friends, Sarah and Jennie. Sally always obeyed her parents and was very kind. Her parents couldn't ask for a better daughter.
Sally, Jennie and Sarah were playing with their dolls in the meadow, her parents watching distantly from the house. They got hungry and had sandwiches for lunch. The girls talked and then headed back to the meadow to play dolls again. As soon as Sally's friends had to leave, her parents sat her down to tell her excellent news: Uncle Johnny was coming over to visit! Sally was super excited and couldn't wait to see Johnny.
The next day, Uncle Johnny came to Sally's house and her parents greeted him politely. It was a long day and Sally was getting tired. Her mother offered to take Sally to bed, but Uncle Johnny insisted. Johnny walked Sally over to her room and helped her pick some pajamas. Sally and Johnny chose a silky and soft nightgown and she went to tell her parents goodnight. Sally's mother and father tucked her into bed, and Johnny was the last one out.
