As Sally's parents walked out of her room, Johnny closed the door in front of him and locked it. He also turned off all the lights, including Sally's nightlight, which she kept on because she was afraid of the dark. Sally stuttered and hid under her sheets, hiding with slight fear. Johnny gave Sally an eerie smile as he walked closer to her. He took down the sheets and slowly took off Sally's pink nightgown. Her parents couldn't hear Sally's screaming because of the ruckus outside.
The day after that, Sally woke up with tears in her eyes, her nightgown was on her sloppily, with only one sleeve on her. She fixed her dress and walked to the kitchen, where her mother was having coffee. Her mom was also crying. Sally and her mother had a talk and she realized her father had died in a car accident.
Sally's mother asked what was wrong and she stuttered. Her mother couldn't understand a word. Sally kept saying the words "game" and "Johnny" over and over again. Johnny was in the living room, hearing what Sally was saying in the kitchen. Johnny interfered in the conversation and said Sally was probably having a nightmare.
Johnny then led Sally into a different room and whispered in her ear, "You didn't play the game right."
