I sat in the hospital bed on my birthday as Ashley gave me a cupcake with a candle in it. The candle wasn't lit since we were in a hospital, and my mother, my brother and Ashley all sat around me.

"Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday to you... Happy birthday, dear Briana... Happy birthday to you!"

I smiled as they all clapped around me. My mother held me hand and then a frown formed on her face.

"Where's Louis? It's almost time." My mother asked and I shrugged.

"Last time I checked he was in Chicago with his new girlfriend." I sighed and my mother shook her head.

"From ski slopes to Chicago. And what about you?" My mother asked angrily and Ashley pulled my mother's hand away from mine.

"It's her birthday, why are we even talking about that dickhead?" Ashley asked. "It's Briana's day. For 9 months everything has been about this baby... Make today her day." Ashley told my mother and my brother sat there quietly. I furrowed my eyebrows as I held my stomach.

"I don't think today can possibly be my day." I sighed...

"Why?" Ashley asked. "You deserve it."

"Because this baby is coming..." I said as contraptions rippled through my body.

They say "three times the charm". I guess that's what applied to this baby, because I was in labor for three days. On my birthday I got slight contraptions, making me very uncomfortable on "my day". The next day they got worse, and I felt like crying all the time. And trust me, I did. After about 50 hours, give or take a few, the contraptions kept getting worse.

All my life I watched tv shows and movies where a pregnant girl goes into labor and the father is there. The father panics and holds her hand and supports her through the whole thing.

After a few hours, within the same day, she usually has the baby. While I went to the doctor throughout this pregnancy, I learned a lot of things. Medical things.

I found out you could be in labor for multiple days, and I just thought that would never be me. I felt so bad for those women who had to sit there in labor for hours on end.

And then I became one of them.

On that blessed third day, finally the baby breached and was ready to go. About an hour before the little guy arrived, his father arrived and was nervous as hell. Ashley took a video of him nervously pacing in the waiting room. When he sat his feet nervously tapped on the ground. When it was time to finally let the kid pop, he came into the delivery room with me and was by my side.

Although he wasn't the father I would have anticipated in my pregnancy, suddenly in that moment, with him holding me hand and being by my side... This was what I really anticipated all along. In that moment all I could think about is being with Louis and this baby for the rest of my life, and maybe even having more... And when he looked into my eyes as I squeezed his hand, I figured he felt the same way also.

He almost fainted when the baby came out, and he cut the umbilical cord and held the baby. I was way too exhausted to hold him, and I instantly went to sleep, but when I woke up, Louis sat next to me with the baby and handed him to me.

"What should we name him?" Louis asked and I smiled looking down at my baby boy.

"Christopher?" I asked and Louis laughed and shook his head.

"Way too American." He laughed. "Oli?"

"Oli my ass." I laughed and he shook his head.

"Don't curse in front of the baby..." He said with risen eyebrows. "The news got out some how about the birth. There's a rumor we named him Conchobar."

"Concho-what?" I asked and Louis laughed. "Well whatever that is, that's definitely not the name."

I spoke to the baby for the longest time, and so did Louis. We took turns holding it, and soon when we moved rooms my mother and Ashley got to hold it. My brother looked curiously at the little baby.

"It's my nephew?" He asked and we all laughed.

"Yes Austin... You're an uncle." My mother smiled.

"What's his name?" Austin asked and Louis looked to me.

"How about Fredrick?" Louis asked.

"I was thinking Reign... Since he's my king." I said with a risen brow.

"So Fredrick Reign." Louis said. I liked the sound of that. Fredrick Reign.

"All hail king Fredrick!" Ashley joked as my mother handed her the baby

"All hail king Fredrick!" Ashley joked as my mother handed her the baby. "Fredrick Reign, you got a nice rhyme to your name Freddie."

"Freddie... That's a nice nickname." Louis laughed.

"Freddie." I smiled as I looked at my baby. "Hi Freddie..."
