Later that night the two were home. Mr. Peabody is holding his daughter.
"How long?" Allie asked.
"Have I had it?" Hector asked.
"No, till you.....um.....go." She said stumbling for the right words.
"I am not sure it isn't the cancer that will kill me. It is the chemotherapy that will be my undoing." He replied.
"Oh. I will take care of you." Allie said.
That made the beagle smile.
