Cattleya's POV
I spent the night at Hakeem's condo, let's just say he went down and my problems went up. I was in the kitchen cooking breakfast for Keem and his doorbell rung. "Hakeem open this damn door" Cookie yelled. I ran to his room and hit him hard. "Damn bae wassup with you why you hitting me" he yelled "Your moms here, she gone flip if she see me Keem" I panicked "bae chill just go in the bathroom, and lock the door" he rose out the bed and walked to the door. I started laughing "what's funny" he said. "You swinging Papí" I laughed throwing him his underwear. "Thanks Mamí" he kissed me "now get in the bathroom and lock the door." I went to the bathroom and ran some water.

Hakeem's POV
I went downstairs an opened the door. "What the hell took so long?" Cookie said. "I was sleep ma, wassup? Whatchu doing here" I asked. "Tonight your performing at Leviticus, right after my lil shining star Cattleya" she said. I smiled at her name knowing she was right up stairs in the shower. "Who here?" Cookie asked picking up Cattleya's bra off the pool table. "Ma its not your business who I get dirty with, I am grown" I said. "Boy hush, your my baby boy. It is my business" she said. "What you cooking?" She finished. Damn ma was cooking for me. "Nah, I ain't cooking my lil shawty was" I said "well get her down here I wanna meet her, might as well me the girl that got my son cheesing so hard his dimples might cave in" she said smiling. Oh shit! Think Keem Think. "She gone be in the shower for a while, so I'll just talk to you later." "Whatever boy, I wanna meet her sometime, I guess right now is the wrong time" she said. "And have you seen Cattleya, she wasn't at her place this morning?" she asked. Damn think. "She said she had to visit someone a couple hours away, when I talked to her this morning." I lied. "You have her number?" Cookie said surprised. "Yeah, to keep in touch in case I want to write another song with her, one of the main reasons we talked this morning, than she took a raincheck cause of her lil visit" I lied again straight through my teeth. "Look Hakeem, I don't know if you like her or whatever, but you need to cut it out. She not the type of girl you need." "Ma in all honesty you can't control who I need or want" "listen to me boy, I don't want you talking to her about anything besides music you hear me?" "Sorry to burst your bubble, but anything I want I get ----- Cookie" I said as I opened the door for her to leave. "We'll see about that" she said walking out. I ran up stairs and seen Cattleya with nothing but a towel on. "She really don't wanna see us together... Does she?" She said quietly. I walked over and pushed her against the wall and wrapped her legs around my waist and kissed her, like I've never kissed anyone before. "Damn what she wants. I want you and I will have you"
